I HEART MAKEUP CHOCOLATE ORANGE PALETTE

(With Swatches)
By Jue Douglas

Hello again you lovely lot and thank you for stopping by.. I hope you are all well and the week has been kind to you.
As it’s a few days before Christmas I hope you’re not too stressed with Christmas preparations or you’ve eaten your body weight in mince pies.( is that just me???)
Sadly all is cold in the Juelook household as the boiler has broke again!!!! But it’s not all bad new as I did receive a parcel from Superdrug.( and I’ve got a plumber coming soon)
Let me set the seen I was buying Christmas presents and was ask to buy the Makeup Revolution Soph X palette as a gift for someone, so I’m on my iPad on the Superdrug website ordering and I’m thinking I might as well order more why I’m here so I came across the I HEART MAKEUP section and when I saw this a palette of two of my favourite things ( chocolate and makeup) and as it’s Christmas it was the perfect time to try this product as it just reminds me of Christmas. ( who doesn’t have a chocolate orange at Christmas?)
I think we all know I do have a bit of an obsession with makeup palettes. Not all makeup palettes, just ones of a certain shade and if I see one I’m not going to lie it does kind of all by itself make its way into my little shop online basket.
It’s the I HEART MAKEUP CHOCOLATE ORANGE PALETTE £8.99
I’m not going to lie my love for a Terrys chocolate orange did cloud my judgement over this, that and the fact I do love my orange and red eyeshadow tones and even though I definitely didn’t need another palette.  I haven’t bought one in a couple of weeks ( wow that’s a long time for me) and when I do, I do like to let you guys know all about it.
I have never owned a I Heart Makeup Palette before but it’s the same family as Makeup Revolution all from Tam Beauty brand  so I guessed I would love it as it’s my favourite brand to buy a palette from.
It’s £8.99 which is one of Tam Beauty’s more expensive eyeshadow palettes but on a parr with other palettes from the brand so I should t grumble as it’s still a good price for an eyeshadow product.

This palette contains 16 shades. Which surprise surprise are on the orange shade side. Two of which are shimmer and the rest are matte.
The I HEART MAKEUP palettes are ment to be a dupe for the Two Faced Chocolate bar palettes.
I’ve never tried the Two Faced ones as they are £39 each and with the best will in the world I could never afford that for a makeup product nor would I want to if this is any good.
The palette is shaped like a chocolate bar and even though I have read reviews it smells like chocolate I wouldn’t say it overly did, however much I wanted it to.
The packaging is very similar to the Two Faced product. It does feel quite heavy and probably would weigh down a Makeup Bag. The palette does come with a mirror in the palette which I always find handy and had a long handle applicator which is useful as well. I love product that comes with a brush, even if it’s a rubbish one ( this one is a good one) it’s always handy to have something that does come with the product ideal if you are in a rush and don’t want to be scampering around on the hunt for a brush.
The colours all have names which are very orange related ( which I love) and there are two highlighter light shades: It’s Mine and In One which are perfect to wear as a natural all over eye lid colour, towards the inner corner of your eye or under your brow.

Top row names: ITS MINE, CHEMENTINE, CHOCOLATE ORANGE, RIBBON, SILKY SMOOTH.
Middle row: GIFT, TAP IT, LUSH, SEGMENT, PIP, ORANGE
Bottom row: SMASH, PEEL, DESSERT NIBBLE, IN ONE
Stand out shades have to be; Nibble, Tap it, Dessert and Peel.

But to be honest all 16 are very wearable.
The pigmentation on the shades are the same excellent quality as we would expect from a Makeup Revolution sibling and this one definitely doesn’t disappoint in the long lasting ability of the eye shadows.
It’s a lovely palette but I think a lot of shades are similar to other shades from other palettes, so if you haven’t got any palettes with orange shades it’s definitely worth a purchase.
I will also link below the Soph X palette review as well as this one is still one of my favourites to use and definitely worth a mention
