Hi again you lovely lot and thank you for stopping by. I hope you are all well and life is treating you kindly.
My week has been not as stressful as last week for me and I haven’t had any more epic eye makeup fails so all good.
Well what can I say except Gosh cosmetics where have you been all my life?
This week I could hardly contain my excitement when I have been trying out four different base products from the Gosh range one being a powder product.
Now you know what it’s like when you see a brand and think to yourself “ I should really try something from the range” but you never do and then other things are released and you forget about the range. Well that was sort of what I was like about Gosh. I had seen it all lovely and shiny on the stands and not even been tempted to try it.
Now I’m not going to lie one of the base products I didn’t really get on with. I’m not sure if it’s because I liked the other two so much and thought this one was going to be similar or I wouldn’t have liked it anyway but I’m leaving that one till last as you guys know I don’t like to mention the things I don’t particularly like.
My favourite product of all was the GOSH PRIME’N SET SETTING POWDER TWO IN ONE £9.99. This product is brilliant and I would repurchase this in a heartbeat. Yes I know it’s expensive and it’s only a small jar, it’s quite messy to use and the first time I used it my sofa was completely covered in white powder ( luckily I had no visitors coming around or it could have been very awkward) but it’s brilliant! Now i have said before how i usually touch up my powder at dinnertime but with this you don’t have too. Your foundation sets for the full day. It doesn’t cake and feels really light and natural on your face. I did use it to prime as well underneath and if you have good skin with not blemishes you might be able to use it alone without any foundation. I love how it’s multi use because well you know I love a good 2 in 1 product. Definitely the best setting powder I have ever used and it’s even made me pop my trusty Rimmel Stay Matte powder back in its draw!!!!!!

Now on to the GOSH #FOUNDATION DROPS 004 £12.99. This is a miracle in a bottle. I was expecting it to be a similar formula to the REVOLUTION FOUNDATION DROPS £6 that I recently tried but it’s not. Its coverage is amazing and you really don’t need a lot for a full coverage even though it’s buildable. I used a damp sponge, which I couldn’t do with the Revolution one to apply and set with the Gosh powder. It’s not sticky and isn’t too watery. It really does last all day and doesn’t change colour either. It includes an SPF 10 which I do love in a foundation product especially in the summer months. It doesn’t cake or settle into pores and is just amazing. I can’t believe I have never tried this before. I know it’s a little bit expensive but well worth it especially if there is an offer on. Another thing to point out is you get 30ml of the product which after the Revolution product only having 18ml of product this seems a better buy.
Now something I would like to say about this foundation is one of the days I have tried this I wasn’t very well and had to take a little nap in the afternoon. If you’re anything like me and you have a little nap in the day my makeup usually ends up everywhere except my face!! Well this didn’t. My makeup was still intact and if I had needed to go out after my little nap, I wouldn’t have had to touch up. This to me seems a big deal and credit to the MAYBELLINE INK LIQUID EYELINER as well as that didn’t budge either.

GOSH X-CEPTIONAL WEAR FOUNDATION 12 NATURAL £7.99.
This is the first product I tried from the brand. It’s the cheapest foundation that I have tried from GOSH and I was pleasantly surprised. No it’s not as good as the Foundation Drops but the coverage is really good and I much prefer the packaging as you do know I love a plastic tube. It does leave a lovely finish which on the packaging says radiant finish which made me think it would have been a more sheer coverage than it is. The downside of this is that it doesn’t contain a SPF ( it doesn’t mention it on the packaging) but you get 35ml of the product so it’s a little more than the drops but if it’s a choice between this or the drops the drops win hands down.

One that I wouldn’t repurchase is the GOSH FOUNDATION PLUS+ COVER & CONCEAL in the shade 004 £9.99. This one was not my favourite. In contains Seaweed which I quite like the idea of even though I’m not a fan of when it’s in the sea. It does contain a SPF 15 as well which I completely love in a foundation especially in the summer. But that’s where the love ends. I normally like a thicker concealer/ foundation but this formula seemed too sticky and didn’t really give me as much coverage as I wanted. The bottle was quite small and for the price I was expecting more.
If you want to take advantage of the 3 for 2 offer on in SUPERDRUG at the moment I will leave the link below as this makes the GOSH products even cheaper.
If you think there are any products from GOSH I would love please leave in the comments as I’m keen to try more from the brand.
