10 REASONS WHY WE LOVE IT

Don't you just love finding a cheap product that does the job of more expensive ones and is so versatile it's like a little beauty secret.
I’m talking about Coconut Oil.
Those eagle eyed ones among you might remember months ago I did a post all about the 10 reasons why I love Coconut Oil so much. If you missed it I really wanted to write it again after the lovely people at SUPERDRUG sent me a tub to try out.
As I’m a regular user of the oil there’s not much I don’t know about the benefits of the stuff.
I’ve been using it for over a year now and have to admit I only bought it because of all the media hype about it and the fact Posh aka Victoria Beckham uses it as well. If it’s good enough for Victoria it’s good enough for me.
Now I have to admit I do use it more on my skin than on my hair as after looking into the benefits it’s a little pot of wonderment ( is that even a word!!!!)
Mine is only a small tub of 125ml (they do bigger tubs as well and I will leave all the links below in case you fancy picking up a tube for yourself)

It's such a strange texture and at first I thought I wasn't going to like it and I do tend to get put off with the word “oil” when it’s in products, But the texture does turn to liquid making it easy to spread and put anywhere you like.
At first I did use it on my nail cuticles and my hair as an overnight mask but I have managed to find Ten uses that you might not know that you can try.. so here goes..
1. As a hair mask overnight.
2. As a moisturiser to stop wrinkles.
3. As an eye makeup remover.
4. Lightening age spots. ( this helped with my pigmentation last summer)
5. Mix with sugar to use as a body scrub.
6. Use as a lip balm.
7. Mix with salt to remove dry skin on feet.
8. Rub on cuticles to soften and make nails grow.( my favourite usage)
9. As a natural baby lotion.
10. Rub onto dry flakey elbows.
Hope I have found some uses for coconut oil that you didn't know.
