B COSMETICS MAKEUP HAUL

So last week I went abit over the top. As one of Superdrugs amazing “Treat Thursday” deals B COSMETICS had 50% off the normal retail price. This was made extra amazing as they were also on a 3 for 2 off as well so it was a complete winner.
I did go a tad over board but did buy lots of products to try as I love discovering new products.
I thought I would share with you guys what I bought and if I think it’s worth buying or not.
B COSMETICS is SUPERDRUGS own brand cosmetics. In the last week year it’s been repackaged and new products have been added to the range. It’s cruelty free and the whole range is vegan. So a complete winner. It’s purse friendly even when there isn’t an offer on. To be honest there mostly is the next one is buy one get one half price offer.
Anyways onto the products. The stand out product for me is the PRIMING SOUFFLÉ. This product is amazing. It comes in a little tub. At first you don’t think you get much product but a little does go a really long way. It covers literally everything, lines, wrinkles, pores and any other skin problems you can think of. Your skin looks instantly smoother and you could wear it alone without any other products. I would love it to contain an SPF ( if it does it doesn’t say it does on the tin) and would love the brand to do a foundation soufflé in the same formula as that would be perfect.

I did go a little over board with the lip products and bought two lipsticks and two matte liquid lipsticks. Now I have to say I prefer the formula of the matte liquid lipsticks as they last a lot longer. Saying that I love the packaging of the lipsticks. The lipstick shades I bought were Risky Business and Snatched. Risky Business was perhaps a little daring for me. A few years back I used to wear bright lipsticks all the time so thought I might go back to trying them again. Sadly I’m set in my ways on the neutral nudes so it’s another product that’s going away in my little drawer.
The neutral shade is a lot more “me” it’s called Snatched and is a browny nude shade and feels so comfortable to wear. These lipsticks don’t seem to last very long and one cup of tea later it does need to be reapplied.
The Matte liquid lipsticks last so much better. These also feel comfortable and last I would say 5 hours or so even with a cup of tea. The shades I went for were, In the buff and 1995. In the buff is definitely my favourite out of the two and I would repurchase that again in a heartbeat.

The Radiance shimmer palette I picked up is also a new favourite. They do a blusher one as well which I didn’t pick up and I really wish I had now. ( maybe another day) The one I did pick up gives off just enough colour payoff and looks so subtle. It’s just perfect for that just abit of something look.
A product I did picked up and didn’t really get along with is the Contour Brow palette. I’m definitely a brow pencil sort of girl but they didn’t have any of the mechanical brow pencils in stock hence why I went for the palette. The colour is easy to apply and went on super well but it didn’t really set and did smudge throughout the day. That said I didn’t use a setting spray on that particular day so I might have got different results if I had.
The last item I bought is one of my favourites. Who remembers when YSL first bought out the Touche Eclat? I know they still make it but when it first came out it was such a thing. Every brand bought out their own little version. I remember being at the Chester Zoo and a lady was in the toilet ( by the mirrors in the toilet I should add) using the YSL one and I thought “When I’m older and have more money I’m going to use that” ( I have some bazaar memories) anyway to cut a long story short this is the B range version of the YSL product and it’s amazing. It’s perfect for under your eyes and makes a great little product for touch ups during the day. I bought the shade 02 Nude which I love and would buy it again when this one runs out.
If you get a chance to use any of these products let me know what you think!..I would say the Soufflé is the stand out product as it’s definitely my new favourite primer ever.
I will be back again at the end of this month with my July Favourites post so until next time

    1. Thank you so much for your comment.........I’m still yet to try the YSL one ( maybe one day) but this one gives great coverage and is a more purse friendly price. X
