JANE SCRIVNER ANTI-AGEING INTENSE PRESCRIPTIVE OIL

January 20, 2021

Facial Oils are so popular at the moment. If you had told me a couple of years ago that I would be obsessed with skin oil I wouldn’t have believed you.
I find as I’m getting older they really seem to suit my skin and really help with skin damage and ageing! When I was asked if I wanted to try out the Jane Scrivner Intense Oil - £25, how could I say no! I had heard of the brand before but hadn’t used any of the products so was keen to try out a product from the range.
Jane Scrivner Skincare is a UK based company that produces natural skincare products. Jane Scrivner herself believes in feeding skin. With 30 years of working in the skincare and therapy industry and trying out all the products on herself, ( not on animals) so if it didn’t make a difference it didn’t make it into the range. Doing research on all the ingredients that not only were organic but actually worked lead the way to the award winning skincare that really works.
So the product that I want to talk to you today about is the Intense Oil from the Prescriptive oils range.
This fantastic treatment oil is a potent, fortifying treatment oil that is amazing at reducing fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, scars, sun damage and dry skin.
The oil is made from 100% Organic C02 Critical Extract of Chilean Rosehip Oil which is naturally rich in heavy-duty Omega's 3 and 6, which work to plump, smooth and moisturise the skin.
Rosehip oil is an amazing ingredient in regards to skincare and with this one contains the best quality of Rosehip oil around it’s pretty much the best you can get.
It’s also rich in vitamins E, C, and Beta Carotene with is an excellent source of trans retinoic acid. As well as Vitamin A which is used to encourage cell turnover and reparation. This powerful natural Chilean Rosehip oil works to repair skin damage and restore skin cells for improved tone, texture and elasticity and improved fine lines and wrinklesIt’s also worth pointing out that the product is Sulphate free, Paraben free, Lanolin free, Mineral Oil free, Artificial Colour free, SLS free, and Petrochemical Free. So now we have the claims let’s talk about the product.
First of all the packaging
The Jane Scrivner Intense Oil comes in beautiful rose gold packaging and looks like it costs a lot more than it does.
Every other Facial Oil I own comes in a droplet bottle, and can get a bit messy but this one is a pump action bottle and the pump works great and it's quite easy to use with very little waste and mess as one pump is enough.
So my skin is behaving at the moment. Except for a little bit of dryness on my cheek (this comes from wearing a mask for long periods of time) I was keen to see how this would effect my dryness and obviously my fine lines and wrinkles which I do suffer with and show up more when I’m tired.
I have been using this product for about a week now and am really enjoying using it.
So the oil sinks in really quickly and isn’t at all “oily” if that makes sense. I used mine in the evening after cleansing as it would be too much for the morning.  It does have an earthy smell that you know is from Rosehip but this soon fades. The oil is Orange in colour and has to be rubbed in between your fingers to save any colour transfer on pillows etc as the oil is very orange. I always rub in my oils, creams and serums really well anyway.
It’s amazing how quick you get to see results. The first time I used it I was pleasantly surprised at how it cleared up my dryness and my wrinkles looked more like fine lines by the morning time. I was also amazed at how my skin felt the next day, like some overnight miracle.
The product is also aimed at reducing scars. I don’t have any to try this out but after reading all the good reviews its got to work
I would love to see how this shapes up in the summer months as my sun damage and pigmentation does show up more in these months.

You can pick yourself a bottle of this Anti- Ageing oil or any of the other prescriptive oils from the range at
