PR Sample-/Gifted
So, it’s nearly the start of a new season! This makes it the perfect time to switch up our skincare and give our skin the love it needs as we approach the harsh winter months.
I don’t know if you guys remember but a year or so ago I excitedly reviewed the SAMAYA anti ageing range. The results were pretty amazing and I have continued to incorporate it into my skincare routine. So when the brand asked me if I wanted to try out the Kapha Rejuvenating eye cream as well I was keen to find out more.
Since being poorly over the summer, I’ve found that I look tired all the time. My dark circles have really become prominent and I am finding sleeping quite a challenge so I am not really looking at my best at the moment. Never has there been a better time to try an eye cream out.
So before I start, first of all let me tell you a bit about the concept of this unique brand just in case you missed my previous posts.
Samaya Ayurvedic is an award winning all natural skincare brand based around Ayurvedic practices. The brand was founded by Abida Abida Halstenberg who while growing up in India was surrounded by Ayurvedic culture. With remedies passed down from her grandmother created a skincare brand that helps achieve samadosha or to provide perfect balance in your life, starting with your skin.
Samaya collects the authentic elements of Ayurveda together with clinically proven active and anti-ageing ingredients to provide a relaxing, indulgent premium skincare that works in harmony with your lifestyle.

I thought it would be useful to include the “Discover Your Dosha” taken from the Samaya website.

Before using any of the products, Samaya recommend you take the Dosha test. This can be done online and I will leave you a link for you to try out this test for yourselves at the bottom of this post.
So after doing a short simple test, ( don’t worry the test is just a few lifestyle questions) you should get your Dosha results saying which of the products are suitable for your skin and lifestyle.

With three different types of Dosha, Vata, Pitta or Kapha, each have their own skincare ranges containing all natural blend of botanical ingredients built on thousands of years of holistic knowledge.
So after taking the test my Dosha is Kapha. This is for skin that is usually thick and pale, but can be radiant and glowing, but with clogged pores and excess oil when out of balance.
Which ever Dosha you are, the skincare brand promises to contribute to healthier, radiant looking skin.
So the product I’m talking about today is the Samaya Kapha Rejuvenating Eye Cream 15ml £59.

The eye product itself contains exciting ingredients such as Clinically-proven plant cell with Probiotics, Green Tea, Caffeine (which is brilliant for eye bags and puffiness and definitely something that I need at the moment) and powerful Ayurvedic botanicals such as Ashwagandha, Sandalwood, Vetivert, Frankincense, Pomegranate and Gotu Kola. This quick absorbing formula helps to decrease the appearance of dark circles, wrinkles, eye bags, puffiness and help increase firming, brightening, elasticity and hydration. Anti-pollution and photo-protection (UV, IR, blue light, visible light).

Firstly the packaging. The product is packaged in a similar way to the other products that I have used from the brand before. It’s classy and simple and completely gorgeous. It would definitely look good on anyone’s dressing table. ( not that this is an important factor but it’s a plus point!)
The product comes in a simple tube with the cleanser safely inside. The product itself comes in a pretty glass pump action bottle and contains 15ml of product. The pumps new design is made to dispense just the right amount of product in just two pumps. This is perfect as you know you are not going to be wasting any of the product.
You only need to smallest of amount and with the bottle being 15ml in size you can tell that it’s going to last you a while.
The product itself is a white silky creamy lotion. It’s got quite a distinct smell which isn’t offensive and you can really smell the natural aromas coming though. The scent is similar to the other Kapha products from the range but maybe not as strong. These aromas are really relaxing and make the product completely enjoyable.
The lotion is very light and it’s very easy to apply as it sort of melts into your skin. I found applying in circular motions the best way to massage it into my delicate under eye area. You know how some creams can sting your eyes, well this totally doesn’t. Not even a little bit. It doesn’t dry out your skin either especially as the eye area is one of my problem areas for dryness. The cream is great at reducing dark circles and my eyes definitely look better using this product. My eyes also feel “more awake” as the product is cooling around the eye area which I complete love. I’m really keen to continue using this product in the future and Samaya Ayurvedic  Skincare definitely deserves a place in everyones skincare routine.

Another great point to this product is it’s Vegan, in fact the whole range is so you can buy with confidence.

If you missed my previous posts all about the other Samaya products I have tried out. I will leave the link below. On this post I go into more detail about the brand and what each Dosha is. I didn’t want to repeat myself on this post so please feel free to check it out if you want more information.
If you fancy buying this amazing eye cream I will leave you the link below.

I am excited to see the benefits of using this product over time and will keep you all updated.
Until next time
