PR GIFTED FOR REVIEW

Hi again, and hope you are all well and having a good week so far and life is being kind to you.
Well it’s a sunny day so what better way to spend a day off than to write a blog post in the garden. Now I know I’ve said sunny but it’s not hot so I’m sitting here in my little jacket!! Please don’t judge me here. I spend far too much time indoors so when there is a natural bit of daylight I’m out that back door with my deck chair and my coat like I don’t even care.

So I hadn’t planned to write a blog post today. (I was just going to do a reel) Making this one of those mini ones where I just waffle on about a product with no planning on what I’m going to say. ( Nothing new then!!) Writing the first thing that comes to mind.

Anyway the reason for my post is that I’ve been trying a new Rimmel London mascara and thought I would share with you my thoughts..
The Thrill Seeker mascara has been out for a while now in fact it did trend on TikTok for a while but this is a new version of the Pitch Black shade!!
So I’m not going to lie. I don’t tend to use Rimmel mascaras. I usually just stick to Maybelline if I’m honest. So when I was kindly gifted this one to try out I was excited to try it especially as Rimmel is Cruelty Free.

So first let me tell you what Rimmel London say about the mascara.
Get bold intense, high impact volume pitch black, longer-looking lashes with the boldest volume without the weight.

The mascara’s creamy, whipped formula is charged with lash-loving panthenol, leaving lashes feeling conditioned.
So easy to apply, the gentle hyper-soft fibre brush grips each lash for root-to-tip volume that’s clump-proof and weightless.
Long lasting, smudge-proof and flake-proof formula ensures lashes stay looking great all day long.
So let’s look at the packaging. This mascara retails in a cardboard box making it feel a little bit more luxurious. Because this is a PR sample I don’t have a box just the simple tube which is a standard tube easy to use and lightweight.
If you open it up the brush is just my cup of tea.
It’s a good size and shape for both the top Lashes and the bottom ones and I find you can really get into the corners with all the bristles. So so far so good!!
I really wanted to give it a fair go and I’ve been wearing it everyday since I received it.
I have been quick to judge Mascaras in the past but find they get better over time. So wanted to give this a fair try. This one from the first go seems to be really good as I was very impressed that it wasn’t too clumpy and went on very easily. I had to put on just two coats to get the look that I wanted but I’m sure one would have been enough for most people but I do love the volume and length
I also liked the way my lashes felt as they weren’t too spikey and felt flexible to touch. For me it’s how it lasts in the day that counts. I have quite watery eyes and get emotional very easily and this didn’t budge once. This to me is a total winner as no one wants Panda eyes (except pandas).
It’s so easy to remove as well, which is important to me as I’m not one of these people who ever goes to bed with makeup on. I found it washed off with my usual first cleanser straight away  ( I have started to double cleanse now) so that’s definitely a plus.
This mascara retails at £9.99 so I would say it’s a standard drugstore price for a mascara and it’s even better if you can get it in an offer for free example buy one get one half price or a three for two.

Until next time
