TINTING MY LASHES WITH EYLURE DYLASH DYE KIT

Hi again you lovely lot! Thank you for stopping by for another one of my endless rambles. After my last few couple of days of illness I’m feeling better now and back on form.
Now you guys know if I use something new I do like to tell you about it so I thought I would share with you my views on the COSMETIC LONDON EYLURE DYLASH DYE KIT in the shade Black. This retails at £9.99. The pack promises Multiple Applications and claims that it’s safe and easy to use.
I have tried the Brow dye before and have done a review about that which I will leave a link below just in case you missed it. So I thought I would do a similar post for this product as well.

Before I go on, I just want to tell you my thinking behind trying this product was for a holiday I had planned and I’m not a fan of Waterproof Mascara so I thought if this worked it was save me wearing a separate mascara and I would have dark luscious lashes ( I think I’m setting the scene here that it’s not going to work aren’t I )
Anyway the product was quite easy to apply as the box does include a little wand just like a mascara wand and mix it in the little tray that is provided. It does say use a waterproof cream over your eye lids because it does stain the skin. That didn’t bother me really as I do have a pretty steady hand when it comes to mascara or eye makeup in general and let’s face it I never really follow the instructions to the letter anyway.
Anyway the trick here is to cover the wand brush with the colour cream for between 2 to 8 minutes depending on how intense you want the colour ( I left it in for the full 8 mins). This is so easy to use and as I was applying the dye it did feel like I was just applying a normal mascara. It felt really comfortable to use as well. Then you wipe it all off with a clean cotton wool pad and then follow step two which is the developer gel. This you leave on for a few minutes and wash off the same way. This also felt comfortable and was a none drip formula so didn’t sting or get into your eyes.

After being so impressed with the DYEBROW I was a little disappointed with the DYLASH.
Perhaps it was because my natural lash shade is quite dark to start with and perhaps it suits fair lashes  shades better than mine. I don’t think I would repurchase as it’s so much easier to not bother if you can get away with it. I even tried to use the product twice just in case I hadn’t used the product properly the first time, you know like if I hadn’t left it on long enough. I got the same results the second time as well.
I have done a little before and after picture and I know they are not that clear ( I have zoomed in a little) but I think you can get the idea that there isn’t much difference between the two.
Please forgive the extreme close up of my very scary, no makeup eye! I do have confidence issues about my face, and it’s so hard to take a selfie picture of my own eye, as I couldn’t see to take the picture and thought afterwards I should have popped it on the timer.
If you have used this product I would love what you think.
Love and Sunshine ( yes we are back to Sunshine as I’m feeling better today)
Until next time

    1. Aww Judy, Thank you so much for commenting. I did see the dark brown version when I purchased but thought the black one would work better for me. X
