There are some evenings when the thought of taking my makeup off feels like a proper chore, isn’t there? 😂

I know we’re supposed to have a lovely, relaxing skincare routine involving several different products, but sometimes I just want to grab a wipe, get the makeup off and get into bed!

So, today I’m chatting about Simple Cleansing Wipes.

Simple Cleansing Wipes

Simple is one of those brands I’ve known for years. It’s always been associated with gentle skincare, so when I spotted these cleansing wipes, I thought they’d be worth trying.

The wipes are lovely and soft, and they’re wet enough to do the job without feeling like you’re trying to remove your makeup with a slightly damp piece of paper — we’ve all been there!

Taking my makeup off

For everyday makeup, I find these really handy. Foundation, blusher and the usual bits and pieces come away pretty easily, and I don’t feel like I’m having to scrub at my skin.

Eye makeup is a slightly different story. If I’ve been wearing lots of mascara or something particularly stubborn, I’ll use an eye makeup remover as well, because nobody wants to be rubbing away at their eyes trying to remove every last bit.

But for a quick first step? They’re really convenient.

Do they leave my skin feeling dry?

Thankfully, I don’t get that horrible tight feeling afterwards that I’ve experienced with some wipes.

My skin feels clean and refreshed, although I wouldn’t stop there. I still like to properly cleanse afterwards and put on my usual moisturiser and skincare.

For me, wipes are more of a quick and convenient helping hand rather than a complete skincare routine that doesn’t feel as naughty as it sounds! 

Would I buy them again?

Yes,  I would.

They’re particularly useful for those lazy evenings, travelling, or just keeping in your handbag for when you need a quick freshen-up.(I always have a pack in my bag!) 

Are they going to replace my favourite cleanser? No! I love my skincare too much! 

But are they useful when I’m tired, wearing makeup and desperate to get into bed? Absolutely! 😂
