WHY I LOVE THE PIXI GLOW TONIC

Pixi Glow Tonic & Glowtober vibes
Hey! Thanks for stopping by!!
I’m always on the hunt for that proper glow, you know the one that makes your skin look fresh and healthy without loads of effort. And if there’s one product that keeps popping up in my skincare chat (and my bathroom shelf), it’s the Pixi Glow Tonic. It’s a proper cult classic for a reason.
This is the award-winning exfoliating toner with 5% glycolic acid. It gently sweeps away those dead surface cells to leave your skin looking brighter, smoother and more even-toned. There’s also aloe vera in there to soothe, plus ginseng and other botanicals that feel really skin-loving. It’s alcohol-free, which is a big plus for me, and it works for most skin types (I’m combination, so my T-zone can get a bit greasy while other areas need a bit more TLC).
I’ve been using it for a while now and honestly, I get why everyone goes on about it. After cleansing, I just soak a cotton pad and swipe it over my face, neck and décolletage (avoiding the eye area). No rinsing needed. Skin feels soft and refreshed straight away, and with regular use you notice that lit-from-within brightness and clearer-looking texture. It’s not harsh at all if you introduce it gradually – perfect if you’re new to acids. Makeup sits so much better on top too.
It’s one of those products that’s been around for ages (Petra, the founder, originally hand-poured the first bottles in her London kitchen years ago) and it’s still going strong. Affordable, generous bottle size, and it just delivers.
And speaking of glow… it’s Glowtober! Pixi do this every October to celebrate their iconic Glow Tonic and the whole Glow collection. It’s all about embracing that healthy radiance, self-care routines and community – sharing how you get your glow on. There are usually special offers, starter kits, exclusive rewards and challenges going on (like posting your Glow stories with the hashtag). Perfect timing as the weather starts to turn and skin can look a bit duller.
If you’ve never tried the Glow Tonic, Glowtober is the ideal excuse to give it a go (or stock up if you’re already a fan). Pair it with the rest of the Glow range – the Mud Cleanser, Glow Mist, On-the-Glow sticks etc. – and you’ve got a proper glow routine sorted.
Have you tried the Pixi Glow Tonic yet? Or are you joining in with Glowtober this year? Let me know!
Until next time
