This product sounds like something that we all need at the moment and I can’t wait to share my thoughts about it with you.
The product is NeuroSkinFeeds, The MicroOil.
It’s a brand new product for your skin and mind. If you have been struggling during these uncertain times and you may be feeling not at your best and you might be need a little bit of extra TLC. This intense rejuvenation product might be a complete skin/ mood game changer for us all.
So first the back story!! Every good product needs a back story and I always like to include this in my post!
So the company was founded in 2017 and launched in 2020 after years of research and development by leading Spanish counsellor and addiction specialist, Tatu Cutillas
Tatu was born in Spain and moved to London in 1988 after a career change from Law to training as a therapist. focusing on addiction and post addiction whilst working at The Priory in Roehampton.
Tatu discovered there is a strong connection between what you put onto your skin and your mood, with certain ingredients having a negative effect.
If you like multi-functional products, like me, this is going to be just your cup of tea.
This brand new product is packed full of botanical, vegan ingredients that helps with sensitive skins and minds and is completely natural.
The product contains a mixture of vegetable based emollients and 100% natural oils.
These include, Camelina Sativa Flower which is meant to have a calming effect on both the mind and skin. It’s also high in Vitamin E which is a antioxidant to calm skin whilst adding moisture and helps with dryness. This not only helps with fine lines but also adds moisture and relieve itching. It’s also really good to help minimise signs of premature ageing and creates a glow to your skin which I don’t know about you but is something that I really want and need especially at this time of year.
The MicroOil is also packed with Omega 3 Fatty Acids making it suitable for all skin types and conditions as well as nutrients including calcium, magnesium, phosphorous.
The benefits of The MicroOil are definitely something to write home about.
The lightweight oil protects against sun damage from exposure (even though it’s not an SPF), regulates oil production,maintains skin elasticity, soothes, provides smoothness, suppleness and hydration to your skin without clogging your pores or weighing your skin down.
If you suffer from skin conditions such as acne and eczema the oil has you covered as well with the anti inflammatory ingredients to help balance your skin out.
As well as being great for your skin it’s also great for your inner happiness. It does this by containing specially selected oils that provide a positive effect on your mental wellbeing and inner happiness.
These “positive” ingredients are tryptophan, a precursor for serotonin. Serotonin is a feel-good hormone and neurotransmitter which helps us if we feel stressed and Omega 3 also reduces inflammation in the brain, which can cause mood shifts, headaches and more.
So how did I find the product.....
I don’t know about you but I love to switch up my skincare every now and then and as we are now in Autumn it seems like the right time.
The MicroOil comes in a super easy to use bottle that is slightly larger in size than oils I have used in the past. The oil is distributed by a small droplet and the brand recommend using 2-4 droplets after cleansing.
This makes it super easy to not go overboard on using too much of the product.
It soaks in really nicely and definitely feels like something special.
I used this just at night as part of my nightly routine. I prefer to use oils at night as I find them more comforting and like to think they work their magic over night. This one is ideal as it smells so good and feels like a pleasure to pop onto your face.
The product can also be used in the morning as well and I found it really needed to be gently rubbed into your skin really well before applying your makeup.
The MicroOil made my skin feel super soft and clear even after a couple of uses. I have been suffering some breakouts around my chin which I have put down to wearing a mask all day and my skin has been feeling a little bit meh...but this product really helped clear things up.
This product definitely makes you feel better as I’m a big believer that if your skin looks good you feel good.
I am definitely going to carry on using the product over the next few months and will get back to you.
