Whether it’s just a quick trip to the shops, an evening out or a work day a quick spritz of spray can uplift your mood and make you feel all set for the day. 

Fragrance isn't one scent fits all. It’s  a very personal choice (we can’t all like the same thing!) and choosing the right scent can feel very daunting. Especially when there are so many beautiful fragrances to choose from.

This is where trying out a new scent would be the perfect idea before committing on buying a full sized bottle. This is why I love Commodity.

So what is Scent Space? 

Scent Space gives you the luxury of control over your scent and its projection.

Each one of the fragrances is available in three distinct versions. Personal, Expressive and Bold.

This helps you to discover your own personal scent's projection and the space your scent takes up around you and who else experiences your scent.

Now I love this idea and to be honest I hadn’t really thought about it until now. 

Expressive (the black bottle with white writing) 

The Exploration Kit contains all 18 perfumes for every occasion. These include Book, Gold, Moss, Paper, Milk, and Velvet in their original Expressive formulations, as well as their Personal and Bold renditions. Don’t worry you also get a booklet explaining each of the different scents and ideas to get you started. 

So first things first you need to Select your space

Do you already know how strong you like your fragrance? Whether you prefer fragrances that fill the room, stay close to you, or fall somewhere in between? 

Then start by selecting your preferred Scent Space. From there, explore all six scents within that Scent Space collection.

 Once you've found your favourite scents, get a little adventurous and try them in their other Scent Spaces to create your very own bespoke fragrance. You even get little tester cards in the kit to make this an exciting process! 

So.. I discovered that I’m am definitely a fill the room sort of girl and love a very strong fragrance, so the idea of choosing a stay close fragrance would be something that is new to me. Saying that I love the idea of mixing two or three fragrances together and a lighter fragrance would be perfect for doing that.  

So which one is my favourite?….

After trying them all out it’s really hard to pick a favourite but if I really had to, I would say that Milk is my favourite in all 3 of the scent spaces. I tend to go with sweet scents anyway so when I knew that this was a sweet Marshmallow scent I knew that this would be just my cup of tea. I also enjoyed Paper in all three of the scent spaces. Surprisingly I preferred the personal fragrance in this more than the Bold one and if I was going to buy a full sized bottle this would be it. 

It’s not only a fun experience but it’s a great way of discovering new fragrances.
