APRIL FAVOURITES!!

April 27, 2019

Omg the weather it amazing. Well it is as I’ve sat down to write this. I’m now pitched up a little spot in my back garden, feet up and a can of Diet Coke in my hand actually loving life. So I thought while I’m feeling happy I’ll write my April favourites post as I know you guys love them. ( I do as well but that’s because I’m super curious and I love reading other people posts!
So last month I included a little Primark haul into the mix. This didn’t really work so I have decided never to do that again!! So this month is just favourites.
Now I know this is early and we are not quite at the end of the month but I have a few posts planned for may and I don’t want to mix myself up ( which is easily done! )

SKINCARE

First of all skincare. I have three favourites this month. I think I have mentioned them before but it won’t stop me again.
I have talked about the Pixi Peel & Polish before so I apologise if I am repeating myself. It makes your skin feel amazing and you can actually see it working. I have used it a couple of times a week since I received it and my skin definitely has improved so really wanted to give it a mention.

My next item is from Sanctuary Spa. I completely love anything from the range but if it says the words “glow” and “radiance tonic” on the bottle I’m all over it. This is very similar to the Pixi Tonic and certainly works wonders for your skin.
The Optimum Glycolic Cleansing Pads are amazing. They are very similar to the Nip+ Fab and the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Pads that I have tried before. These were actually on an offer when I bought them ( half price) and even though they do smell nicer than the other two I would repurchase either of the three brands of the pads as they all do similar jobs to each other.

I have really enjoyed using the Procoal Activated Charcoal Face Wash. A little of the product goes a really long way. I have written a separate post about it so if you fancy reading a more in-depth review  have a little read of it.

MAKEUP

Primark does amazing makeup and I feel it always makes an appearance onto a favourites post in some way or another. This month I am loving the latest Nude range lipsticks. Not only is the packaging amazing but the lipsticks are really lovely as well. Priced at £1.50 each you can afford one in every colour.

The new Primark “Fake It” mascara for £2.50 is one of the nicest mascaras I have tried. I even wrote a separate post about how wonderful it is so really wanted to give it a shout out.

The MUA Pro Base Long Wear Matte Foundation is a great budget brand foundation. It gives full coverage and is available in a good choice of shades. It gives a matte finish but does tend to sit in fine lines so it’s best to use a primer in these areas. Other than that it if you have young skin it’s ideal.

While I was browsing the lovely MUA stand in my local Superdrug. I did pick up a new Palette that I hadn’t seen before. Older readers to the blog will remember I used to always be purchasing palettes and it came to the point where I had far to many of similar palettes all with similar shades that I really didn’t need any more.
The latest offerings from MUA broke me and I decided to buy one. At £4 they are amazing value and the shades in this latest one are beautiful. Now I know what you’re thinking. It’s similar to many palettes I’ve had in the past. But seen as I haven’t purchased one for a while and it’s £4 you can let me off can’t you!!!!

FASHION

I’m really enjoying using my little straw bag I bought from Primark. It was £10 which is probably a little dear for Primark but it was so cute and I love it. It’s quite a small bag but you can surprisingly fit more in than it looks.

TV

Did anyone watch “The Victim”? To me it was the best drama that I have watched for ages. It actually made me gasp in places. I won’t ruin it if you haven’t watched it yet and want to. I just wanted to give it a bit of a shout out.
If you have made it to the end of this post I just wanted to say sorry that the weather has changed. I promise you that it was sunny at the start of the post!!
What have you been loving this month?
Until next time
