FALSE LASHES MADE EASY WITH KISS!

Over the last couple of years or so False Eyelashes have become a thing and yes I’m the first to admit I do have eyelash envy.
You could probably count on one hand how many times I’ve ever used false lashes. I’ve always found it hard and if I’m honest abit of an extra chore. I have always gone for the cheaper brands which looking back I think that has been the problem. The lashes have been heavy and I have always been able to feel them on my lids. But with them becoming more popular than they have ever been it’s really something that I want to get into without looking like I’m wearing false lashes.

So recently I was sent a pair of the Kiss fake lashes to try.
The Kiss lashes are from the Blooming Lash range, which are named after flowers. The ones I have a called Lily. They retail  at £5.99. ( You can save 1/3 in Superdrug at the moment!)  The lashes are lightweight, are regular length and have multi- angle technology. The lashes also come with glue and an instruction leaflet.
As well as the lashes I was also sent the new Kiss Lash couture strip lash adhesive. The glue retails at £5.49 The glue promises super strong hold. It’s latex free and contains Biotin and has blueberry extract infused.
The glue is very much like a black liquid eyeliner ( yes it’s black in colour!!) You paint the lashes, wait for the glue to go abit tacky then apply. Being a false lash newbie the glue I found was a godsend. The brush gives you so much control over where to apply the glue.
With the glue being black you can’t even see it when it’s applied. This makes the lashes look natural and I wasn’t scared that my eyes would look over glued.
I did find that you need a steady hand when applying the eyelashes as the glue is already there and one false move and you have to start the whole process again. I found being seated at a dressing table the best option here as I had somewhere to rest my elbows.
I found I didn’t need tweezers to apply the lashes, just my fingers.
Please excuse the weird eye picture and bear in mind I’m a fake lash newbie!!

I did coat the lashes, when they were applied in mascara to make them blend in. This also made them feel more secure.
The lashes felt very lightweight and if I’m honest I forgot I was wearing them as the day went on.

Something I was really surprised about was the fact that these Kiss Lashes can be re used. I removed them easily with my usual makeup remover on a cotton pad and just removed the excess glue and product from the lashes.
The lashes don’t even look like they have been used they look like new.
At the end of the day I can honestly see how people can wear them everyday and not just for special occasions.  The Kiss ones are the most comfortable and I would definitely use them again making them better value than cheaper ones I have tried in the past.
If you would like to try any of the Kiss products I will leave a link to the website or they are available in Superdrug as well.

I have just looked on the website and there is 1/3 off at the moment, even though I can’t find the lash glue.
Until next time
