LEIGHTON DENNY HIDDEN CITY NAIL POLISH

July 08, 2019

You guys know what I’m like by now. I always like to have my nails painted. Bare nails are definitely a no no for me. Not only do my nails look better when I have a bit of Polish on them it also stops me from biting them. I’ve  talked about the Leighton Denny nail polishes before and they are amazing. So after being kindly gifted a brand new colour I really wanted to talk about the product again and show you this new shade, how long it lasts and if I liked it or not!
I did write a post last month about my love for the brand so in case you missed the last review, I will leave the link below! The post covers the Leighton Denny back story ( we all love a good back story) and shows two of the shades from the Wanderlust collection.

One of the previous shades from the Wanderlust collection was called Jetsetter. This was a lovely dark navy shade! I used this shade for my finger nails and toes for my holidays. I’ve been back a week now and my toe nails haven’t chipped or faded at all. In fact, except for a little bit of regrowth at the bottom they look freshly painted. Honestly it’s that good.
I would say it does chip a little on your finger tips, but you can get around 3-4 days wear out of it which is still really good and long lasting compared to some of the polishes I’ve used in the past.

So onto this new shade.
It’s no secret that these nail polishes are one of my favourite brands and this new shade called Hidden City is no different.
The shade Hidden City is a brown nude shade. It leaves a shiny finish, like they all do, and has great staying power. The shade looks perfect with a tan as well, as it’s really warm. As soon as I received it I popped it onto my fingers. I think you could get away with just one coat as it does cover very well but I used two because I always do really.

These retail at £12 each which I know is pricer than some nail polishes but for the quality you are getting I think they are amazing.
I love the fact that these award winning polishes are free from the 5 nasties which I did mention in my previous post.

They come in a great choice of colours and are available from either the Leighton Denny website which I will link below, or from Marks and Spencer’s if you prefer to shop on the high street.

If you have tried any of the shades I would love to find out which are your favourite shades.
Until next time
