BY INVITATION is a floral fruity fragrance with the top notes of this fragrance being red fruits and bergamots. This then develops into the heart notes of lily of the valley, elegant rose, wild jasmine and spicy peony. Lastly the base notes which is sandalwood musk with a blend of vanilla praline. This warm and comforting fragrance is both modern and timeless and a must for perfume lovers and Michael Bublé fans alike.

Firstly the box is stunning. It’s a simple white box but looks effortlessly classy. The bottle is beautiful and would look amazing on anyone’s dressing table. The bottle is a simple design, with the bottle housed within a  gold casting. This looks a lot more expensive than what it is. It definitely reminds me of a premium brand fragrance in regards to the style of the bottle. I don’t know about you but I love a simple yet classy looking bottle and this is what this is. The bottle is quite sturdy, but not so much as it would weigh down your handbag,  

 THE FRAGRANCE

This to me doesn’t smell like your average “Celebrity” fragrance. So if you’re not a fan of these then don’t let the “celebrity” factor put you off. It’s super long lasting and smells definitely more expensive than it is. Although it’s not a direct dupe, it does kind of remind me of Marc Jacobs Decadence fragrance, which is so much more expensive. 

 Even though the scent is quite light, you really only need one little spritz, as it is quite long lasting. It’s one of those fragrances that you keep getting a whiff of during the day. That’s what really impressed me about the fragrance is how long it lasts.

You can really smell the notes of vanilla, but not in a sickly way, which I completely love. If you’re not a fan of a sweet vanilla scent this might not be the scent for you,

I also had compliments while wearing this fragrance and you could still smell it on my jacket the next day, which is always a plus in my eyes. 

I would definitely say it’s more of a night fragrance, even though I love it for the day as well. The fragrance is modern and timeless and would suit any age. Michael Buble appeals to all ages and I think when the scent was created they had this in mind.
The fragrance is also award winning as it was voted Best New Female Fragrance in the 2017 pure beauty awards, so what’s not to love.

This is just as beautiful and long lasting and even though it’s different you can definitely tell it’s from the same family as the original. The Rose Gold Edition is a fragrance of emotion and poetic inspiration, combining luminous floral and addictive facets. With notes of Magnolia, Rose and Praline. Definitely worth trying if you love the original.
