NORVELL GRADUAL TAN VENETIAN SELF TANNER CC CREAM
July 17, 2019
Hey you lovely lot and thank you for stopping by. You guys know by now that I have a few favourite beauty brands that I love to talk about. In fact I could talk about certain brands all day ( and probably do!!!) and Norvell is definitely up there as one of my favourite sunless tanning products that I have tried.
Before this year I wasn’t really a fan of any kind of self tan. I don’t know why really. I think it was the fear of being orange.( No one wants to be orange!!)
So all that has since changed and now my bathroom cupboard is overrun with tanning lotions and potions from all brands at different price points. ( What a difference a year makes!!)
I have tried a few Norvell products before and if I remember will leave a link at the end of this post for you to check them out.So all that has since changed and now my bathroom cupboard is overrun with tanning lotions and potions from all brands at different price points. ( What a difference a year makes!!)
I am a big fan of a gradual tan. For me, I find these easy to use and you have more control of your desired end result. I love the fact that these can be applied with your hands ( as long as you make sure you wash your palms afterwards!! This is important!!!) I know some people think applying tan with your hands is a big no no but I find that you have more control over where the product is being applied to, as long as you do wash your palms afterwards!!!!
When I was asked to try out the NORVELL GRADUAL TAN VENETIAN SELF TANNER CC CREAM I couldn’t wait to say yes!
Unlike other gradual tan products this one contains VIO-7. Which is a blend of anti orange pigments for a natural looking tan. So any hint of a self tan disaster is well and truly over.
The tan can be built over time and offers instant illumination with the added extra of a CC cream to help moisturise, brighten and firm the skin.
For the best results you can use everyday to build up your tan and a little goes a really long way, so you know the tube is going to last you a long time.
Not only this, it smells really nice as well which Norvell describe as a beach aroma paradise breeze which I kind of like. ( one of those holiday in a bottle kind of smells!)
I applied it with my hands but you could use a tanning mitt and the Norvell blending mitt would be great to use for this type of product. The product is a brown cream which is to be smoothed on evenly , taking care around important areas such as knuckles, ankles, knees etc.. I was surprised about the colour of this as other gradual tans I used before have always been a white creamy lotion. It’s so much easier to use with it being a brown cream, as you know where you have applied it.
The colour takes around 2 to 3 hours to develop, but for the best results, it’s recommended that you wait for 8 hours or longer between applications. I found it best to apply after a bath at night before bed for the product to develop overnight.
The tan is also full of skin anti ageing goodness such as botanical oils of grape seed and hemp seed, olive derived squalane, antioxidant vitamins C and E and extracts of green tea, lemon peel, strawberry and banana fruit. So you know your body is going to get all this nourishment goodness in one tube. This means you know you’re not putting any nasties onto your skin just goodness.
The tan is suitable for any skin tone and produces both cool and warm undertones that suit any skin shade while the premium grade DHA ingredient locks into the top layer of skin for a long lasting Venetian sunless tan.
Oh and I did nearly forgot about the links to previous posts about other Norvell products, just in case you want a bit more commitment from your sunless tan.
