I love listening to music. I’ve always had music in my life and think there’s nothing better than walking with EarPods in your ears listening to your favourite tunes.

So first of all, in case you are unfamiliar with the brand, Who are RHA?

RHA are a Scottish based company established in Glasgow, UK, in 2011.

For 9 years they have been making headphones that combine advanced technologies with premium materials and intuitive controls, giving you the freedom to listen to whatever your little heart wants to.

The TrueConnect Wireless are as the name suggests truly wireless.

This means the Earbuds can be used without any external cables, leads or wires to hold you back. Meaning the only cable in the box is the charging cable.

So what’s inside the box?

Inside the box you get the TrueConnect earphones, charging case, USB-A to USB-C charging cable, stainless steel ear tip holder, True Wireless silicone ear tips in sizes 2x small, 2x medium and 2x large plus Comply™ foam TrueGrip plus ear Tips - 1x small, 1x medium, 1x large and of course the user manual.

You get everything you need and more in the little box. I love the fact that the Earbuds come with extra 10 pairs of foam ear tips in various sizes. They’re supplied with seven sets of RHA’s own silicone tips designed specifically for true wireless earbuds, and three sets of Comply™ TrueGrip Plus memory foam tips for superior noise isolation and a comfortable, secure fit. So the choice is yours.

The Earbuds actually fit nicely and snugly into your ear and are so comfortable. So if you’re using the Earbuds for exercise or running there is no chance of them falling out and breaking mid workout!

If you are using the TrueConnect earbuds for exercise or running it great to know that they are sweatproof and water resistant and ideal for any active lifestyle. This makes them perfect for working out at the gym, running, or simply walking to work in the rain like me. You don’t have to be active to use them but if you are they can stand up to whatever conditions are thrown at them.

So the Earbuds are stored in their very own charging case. The charging case feels very sturdy and is made from a durable aluminium. So you can be sure your Earbuds are stored safely when you are out and about. I love the case so much it feels super sturdy unlike my old earbud case which was made from plastic.

The case provides an amazing 5 hours playback with 20 hours of charge providing over a day’s worth of battery life. This is really amazing to me as my old Earbuds lasted me in full charge for about an hour. ( and I thought that was good!!!) The Earbuds are so fast charging thanks to the distinctive flip charging case that you can get 50% charge from empty in just 15 minutes.( So no waiting around to listen to your tunes! ).

The TrueConnect Wireless Earbuds connect to your device using Bluetooth 5.

I’m not going to pretend I know about Bluetooth but after reading up about it I’ve found out that Bluetooth 5 offers greater connection speed, distance and bandwidth than previous generations of Bluetooth. This doesn’t effect sound quality but does allow better connection strength.

It’s super easy to connect to your device as well.

I connected it to My IPhone 11 practically straight away with ease and after the initial set up I only have to switch on the Earbuds now and they connect straight away to my phone with full device and digital assistant control. Meaning Phone Calls, Music and Smart Functions are super easy and can be controlled from the touch of a button using the Mic and Digital Assistant Controls. The Earbuds works with any Phone device not just IPhones so you are not restricted in any way,whatever your device.

The sound quality is very crisp and I hadn’t realised how bad quality my last pair were until I tried these. Whatever music you’re into you can trust you’re going to get the best sound from your Earbuds. Best of all no one else can hear you listening to your playlist as you are the only one who can hear your music making it perfect if you’re sitting on a train or plane.

Now I know it shouldn’t be important but it kind of is and that’s the colour. The TrueConnect headphones come in three different colours. You can choose Carbon Black, Cloud White and Navy Blue.

The ones I’ve kindly been sent are in the shade Cloud White. This is the perfect shade for me and the shade I would always go for.

They are a simple yet beautiful shade and it’s super easy to find the charging case in the bottom of any bag.
