EXCITING NEW MAKEUP FROM PIXI

With Swatches
So this earlier this week I got a surprise parcel from Pixi.
I’m always so grateful when I receive Pixi PR. Their packages are always so special and I never take them for granted. After being so overwhelmed with the package I thought I would share with you the makeup products that were inside with swatches of all the shades.

So before I start you guys know how much I love a good back story.
Pixi by Petra is the brainchild of successful makeup artist and owner Petra Strand. Launched over 15 years ago in Soho London the brand represents timeless beauty and provides real woman time saving, multitasking high quality makeup solutions at affordable prices. Petra has over 20 years experience herself as a successful makeup artist so you know we are in good hands with quality products. I am such a big fan of their skincare range and the makeup is fast becoming a firm favourite also.
So the products I want to talk to you today about are two face palettes and two eye palettes.
If you have been following me for a while you might remember my obsession with makeup palettes. I used to buy one on average every week. I don’t really buy them as often only when I see that special one that I have to have.
I have used Pixi eye palettes before( Infact the one that I’m currently using is the Eye Reflection Reflex Light Palette).
I always found them to be amazing and really affordable for the quality. My current one has hit pan so these new ones have come at such a perfect time for me.
These palettes are a little bit different to the Pixi one I’m using at the moment. The palettes are more compact which makes them ideal for travel ( I wish!) or to just carry around in your handbag on a day to day basis.
All four of them have a mirror in the lid which I find super handy especially if you are using them to carry around with you as sometimes we don’t have a mirror to hand.
The four palettes in the package are two eye palettes and two face palettes so I’ll talk about the eyeshadow palettes first and then go onto the face products afterwards.

The Eye Effects Palettes come in two different versions. The shades are super flattering and versatile and contain Green Tea, Ceramides, and Vitamin E.
Both the palettes contain shades that are well suited to this time of year.
I usually go for autumnal shades like browns and reds so these two eye palettes are perfect for me.
The palettes come in a handy compact that is a beautiful Pixi trade mark green shade and are super light weight. I love the fact you get 9 perfect shades that have amazing pigmentation. Both compacts contain shades that you would actually wear. Where as in some palettes there is always a rogue shade that you just don’t bother with (if you know what I mean) All the shades are wearable and blend really nicely and so long lasting for an all day makeup look.
Out of both the palettes my favourite is the Hazelnut Haze palette as I love the middle Bronze shade.
The palettes retail at £22 each and are Paraben free and not tested on animals.

So now onto the face palettes.
The Nuance Quartette palette comes in two versions of 4 multi use shades.
Each of the palettes are perfect for travel as one contains a blush, contour, bronzer and highlighter. The highlighter shade gives off an amazing glow. Pixi highlighters in the past have always been my favourites and these are no exception.
I love the idea of having just one palette that includes three products.

Both palettes provide the most amazing glow to your skin and can make even the dullest of skins look amazing.
Out of the two palettes my favourite has to be the Sugar Blossom Palette as I am obsessed with the shade Blossom as a blusher but do love the Ambrosia highlighter from the Honey Nectar Palette.
They retail at £16 each and contains Ceramides, Vitamin E and Botanical Extracts to hydrate your skin.
The creamy powders are silky soft and are perfect for a natural finish, high pigmented long wearing look. The products are Paraben free and not tested on animals.

I have left the links to all the products featured listed below the items and I will also leave you links to my previous Pixi posts just in case you fancy a little read.

It’s worth mentioning that it’s free postage if you spend over £35 (which is so easy to do!) on the Pixi website.

Until next time
