WHITE GLO ACTIVATED CHARCOAL WHITENING TOOTHPASTE AND POWDER

September 08, 2020

So I haven’t been to the Dentist for months. In my defence it’s not my fault. My checkup was due a week after lockdown so was cancelled and as a check up isn’t an emergency I haven’t been called for an appointment.
With my Dentist out of action at the moment I’m trying to take extra care of my teeth. So when White Glo sent me some products to try out I was super keen to try and achieve the perfect smile without the dentist.
For those of you who have never heard of White Glo before let me share the companies back story.
White Glo was originally established in Sydney Australia in 1993 by makeup artists for models and actors. When word went around at how amazing the products worked a demand was made for the products to become available for everyone not just the elite.
Barros Laboratories launched White Glo into the Australian market in 1995 with a mission to "use the latest research and technology to enable everyone to enjoy the confidence of a beautiful, white brighter smile".
The original White Glo formula sold over 1 million products in such a small amount of time and really proved popular with customers in Australia. In fact it’s Australia’s number one teeth whitening brand today.

Today the brand is available in over 30 different countries including UK, EU, Asia, Russia and South Africa providing the world with high quality teeth whitening products at affordable prices.

So what are the products that I’ve been kindly gifted to review.
So a few weeks ago I was sent three products to review. Two of which I am going to talk about in this post and the other one I will be doing a separate post in the next few weeks.
The two today sort of go hand and hand with each other and do a similar sort of job.

The first one is the White Glo Charcoal Deep Stain remover. This is a Activated Charcoal Whitening Toothpaste and the other is the White Glo Charcoal Deep Stain Remover which is an Activated Charcoal powder.
The toothpaste comes with a toothbrush and some flosser tips for a deep clean.
How it works is that stains, discolouration and bacteria are attracted to the highly absorbent charcoal particles leaving your teeth feeling cleaner, brighter and whiter.
I have used Charcoal products on my teeth before and even though I found them to be effective the mess in the sink wasn’t worth the hassle. But this is different... This toothpaste is a joy to use. The toothpaste is grey in colour and foams up to a off white colour. ( So no mess in the sink!)
The taste is really minty and long lasting and it’s amazing at removing stains which is what we all want.

The powder is a similar product for the end result. You only need the smallest amount of powder on your wet toothbrush using the little spoon that is provided. This is ideal so you use just the amount and not too much. The brand recommend brushing with your lips closed to reduce mess.(this is probably where I was going wrong before!) It’s not that much of a mess compared to other charcoal powders as I would say it’s more grey than black and has a sweet mint flavour. You use the product once a day and rinse with water afterwards.
I’m a big tea and cola drinker and found both the products really helped remove my stains that I usually have because of this.
I also loved the little flosser tips that the toothpaste comes with as these really helped them hard to reach areas that we all have.
Both the prices are super affordable for example the toothpaste is £5 and the powder is £6.99. I think that’s such a good deal for whiter teeth.

Both the products are safe and effective, cruelty free and vegan friendly.
Keep a look out for my other post in the next few weeks about another exciting White Glo product.
Until next time
Jue
