NEW PRODUCTS FROM BODY COLLECTION ENGLAND FOR CHRISTMAS!

December 04, 2021

PR/ GIFTED!
I’ve always loved budget beauty. It’s the reason I started with my blog in the first place.
So it always excites me when budget beauty brands bring out exciting now products that aren’t going to break the bank if you try them.
If you missed any of my previous posts let me just quickly fill you in about the brand. Body Collection England.
Body Collection England is a cosmetic brand that sell affordable yet great makeup products that are available in your local Wilkinson store. They aim to deliver products to compliment your natural beauty. All the products are vegan friendly and cruelty free and the brand prides itself in quality products at an affordable price.
I am a huge fan of the range and have wrote previously about the brand. In fact the foundation I am using in my makeup bag at the moment is from the brand. So to say I’m a fan is an understatement.
Recently the brand sent me a few of their latest products to try out. As Christmas is approaching I thought I would share some of the latest products that are available as I know makeup is more popular at this time of year, either to buy as gifts or for all those Christmas parties.
I’m going to start off with my favourite product…
I actually use this brow kit already so I was super excited to be kindly gifted another one. This is probably the nicest little brow kit that I own. I always get it in the shade Blonde. Even though I’m no where near a blonde the shade is quite dark and would probably be a little bit too dark for fairer eyebrows but for me it’s amazing. It lasts all day and the cream side fills in gaps of your eyebrows and is perfect to shape. Where as the powder sets the cream off perfectly. The kit also comes with a little brush making it a great little kit to carry around with you.
Along side the kit is the eyebrow definer pencil. This is a soft skinny mechanical pencil that is perfect at drawing hair like strokes. The pencil is available in 3 different shades and is perfect for filling in your brows. This pencil is at real steal at only £1.50!!
The lip liners are matched perfectly to the matte or high shine lipsticks that are available. These match the lipsticks perfectly.
The ones I’ve been kindly gifted come in the form of a mechanical pencil. I find these easier to use and to carry around with you as you don’t need a separate pencil sharpener.
They are incredibly soft, making applying your liner really easy to achieve. They also have amazing staying power and I used mine as an all over colour ( I love a matte lip) and it lasted me all morning and they are so comfortable to wear as an all over shade.
Now I do love a lip product but I have found that I haven’t been going to them as often as I used to as I’ve been wearing a lipgloss instead. Now we are wearing masks again in the UK I think I will be just sticking to a lip balm. Hopefully soon we will be getting back to our lip products again as I can’t wait to wear this on the regular. It’s such a beautiful shade as you guys know that in the past I always wore a nude lipstick. The nude collection is available in 5 beautiful shades with a satin finish. It’s super comfortable and long lasting and for £2.50 is a total beautiful bargain.
I love the fact that Body Collection England have introduced a plumping lipgloss. I don’t really go for plumping lipglosses as I feel they make your lip tingle too much. These on the other hand are really nice. They do the plumping without the unbearable tingle. They are available in 5 nude shades and have a lovely minty taste. They are super shiny and long lasting. I have included the swatches of the lip products.
(Please ignore the swatch for the lipgloss as it didn’t swatch very well but does look lovely on the lips.)
I hope this doesn’t make me a bad person but I don’t really use primer in my make-up routine. So I was keen to try the Body Collection Primer Spray which is bursting with skincare goodness.
It helps skin feel hydrated and look radiant and makes your makeup just sit better. I also have been using it over the top of my makeup and find it works for me that way as well. Definitely worth a try even if you aren’t used to using a primer.
The cream concealer stick from the range is super creamy, long lasting and provides extreme colour. I have been gifted the dark shade which isn’t really that dark if I’m honest. The concealer compliments the brands foundation range and is great for covering up spots, dark circles and age spots. I love the fact that this little stick can be popped into your handbag for on the go touch ups as well.
The blushers from Body Collection England have always been one of my favourites from the range. They are super pigmented with lovely colour payoff that’s not too much or over the top.
Body Collection Lash Primer is new from the brand. In fact I can’t find it on the Wilkinson website but it can be bought directly from the website. The lashes can be primed perfectly under your normal mascara to amplify the effect of mascara volume and length, while conditioning the lashes. The product is to be used from root to tip under your mascara for that extra oomph.
Hand in hand with the primer is the Body Collection intense mascara. It provides dramatic colour, length and volume and really works well along side the primer for lovely lush lashes. I love the brushes on both these products and find them super easy to use.
If you have tried any of the products from the range I would love to know which ones you loved the most.
Until next time
