Gifted as part of the Savvy Circle
So, todays post is all about hair! As part of the Savvy Circle I was kindly gifted a couple of hair products to try out from the Aussie SOS range.
To be honest if anyones hair needs a little bit of SOS it’s mine.
My hair is very unruly, it's dyed, dry, coarse and dull. This is probably due to the fact that I do dye it quite a bit as I have naturally light hair and like my hair to be dark. It also can be a little greasy and at the roots and I have a few grey hairs and split ends. So really bad with frizz ( I'm not painting a very good picture here am I)
I do like to switch my shampoos around and never really stick to one brand.
I like to wash my hair most days ( except today when my hair is in a messy bun and no one would ever listen to my product recommendations if they could see me now and probably fall over in a fit of laughter at the very thought of me recommending anything)
So finding a new shampoo and deep conditioner that I actually love is quite a task.
The Aussie SOS range is designed to bring long hair back from the brink after frosty temperatures and central heating can take its toll on our locks. The Shampoo from the range contains lots of superfoods to help moisturise our hair and the hair mask contains Australian macadamia nut oil and avocado that will nourish and moisturise your extremely dry hair.

So.. I have been using the Aussie SOS Save My Lengths shampoo and Aussie SOS Supercharged Moisture mask treatment for a few days now and even though that's a short amount of time I am completely in love with and here's why...

The smell of this is amazing. This particular shampoo and mask from the Aussie range smells very fruity and not at all like the traditional Aussie scent that we all know and love. It lasts all day, in your hair and as the day goes on you get whiffs of it from your hair. Even now ( the morning after) I can still smell it (in the messy bun!) and it's that nice I would totally love a fragrance mist in the same sent.

My hair, when it's been washed tends to get very tangled. It's just something I live with and even with conditioner it's still the same but not with this wonderful shampoo and hair mask combo!  Its so lovely and so easy to comb afterwards. It's amazing what a difference it makes and even though my hair is shoulder length I think it would be amazing for longer hair as well and for children who suffer with knotty hair and would make brushing so much easier.
I don't tend to use products in my hair ( except shampoo and conditioner) as I just dry it with a hairdryer and like a straight natural look and this combo really helps with that. My hair has never felt so soft in a long time and even though that's not going to be a factor for many people it kind of is for me.
Now I don't know about you but I love bouncy hair and by that I mean you can keep swishing it about and it just feels nice. Now this shampoo and hair mask combo definitely worked for me at achieving that and that's what kind of sold it to me as I love swishy healthy looking hair. My hair has layers in it and where as some products leave it looking a little flat this shampoo and conditioner combo really emphasises the lengths and layers.
Now I know everyone's hair is different and this might not work for everyone but it definitely works for me and I love it.
Even though the hair mask is a treatment. I found it’s works amazingly as a normal conditioner. There is a regular conditioner in the range but I always think hair masks in pots are easier to use with minimal waste.
If you have tried and love Aussie as much as me please let me know what you think. Do you love the as much as me?
Until next time,

Jue X
