LACURA NATURALS INTENSE EYESHADOW PALETTE
December 26, 2018

Well it seems likes ages since I last did a post. What with my little countdown to Christmas blog post (check it out below if you’ve missed it) and Christmas preparations, also my work, I feel like I’ve had no time and completely neglected my blog!So you can imagine my over excitement, on another little Aldi visit stumbling across another little LACURA product.
Over the last week or so I’ve been using a new eyeshadow palette from Aldi and really wanted to share with you my feeling towards it before they sell out.
Now you guys know how much I’m totally loving the Aldi Lacura dupes that keep appearing on the shelves in my local store.
I love the fact that why shouldn’t people who don’t want, or don’t have money to buy expensive makeup for whatever the reason, can have nice things in their makeup bag.
This is another one of those double take products. The ones where you can’t believe it’s not the real thing. I know some of you don’t like these kind of dupes. You know the ones that are made to look like the original. I on one hand think it’s abit copycatty ( is that even a word?) but on the other hand it makes finding these kind of dupes easy for me to come across.
The palette certainly looks like an Urban Decay palette and there are two to pick from. The one I bought does remind me of the Heat palette that Urban Decay released about 18 months ago and the shades are the kind that I tend to go for when picking an eyeshadow.
The tin packaging feels sturdy and is the selling point to this palette. The shades have names also which I love as it means I can go though and tell you which ones are my favourites.
The shade names are written on the packaging aswell, which makes it so much easier to remember which is which.
FIRST PICTURE (From bottom to top)
IVORY ( This is the only shade of the palette that doesn’t show up much)
HALO
LATTE
TOFFEE
ROSE QUARTZ
CERISE ( My stand out eye colour)
AUBURN (My stand out eye colour)
BLAZE
BRICK
MERLOT
PLUM
WALNUT
I have done swatches as well so you can easily see which ones which and which ones give the best colour pay off. The swatches don’t really do the stand out colours justice as the pay off is so much better on your eyes.
The shades are beautiful and very long lasting on the eyes. Each shade compliments each other and you can get a bold eye look or a more subtle one for an everyday eye look.
Now I’m not going to pretend I know how long wearing the original Urban Decay ones are as I don’t own a palette from the brand. Infact the closest I’ve got near to an Urban Decay Palette is doing a cheeky little swatch in my local Debenhams. I’m not going to pretend I wasn’t impressed either as the pigmentation in those are amazing and if it wasn’t so expensive I would buy the whole range.
I want also to point out that the whole of the LACURA range has the little bunny logo from Cruelty Free International on the packaging, so you can use the range safe in the knowledge that it’s not tested on animals.
I definitely would recommend this palette for those of us who love finding little budget beauty dupes and I can’t wait to see what Aldi Lacura release next.
I will be back in the new year with lots of exciting posts planned so I would love for you to come along with me. Thank you for all your love and support even when life hasn’t been easy as I wouldn’t be here without you guys
Until next time
