You guys know how much I love my affordable beauty products. I talk about it all the time. At the same time I don’t want to compromise on quality. I love products that feel a lot more expensive than they are and that’s the category I would put SANCTUARY SPA in.
Sanctuary Spa was born in 1977 at Convent Garden as an act of love by a man for his ballerina wife.It was a place of tranquil for the ballerinas from the Royal Opera House to relax and recover. Now I don’t know about you, but I do love a good romantic story and this kind of tops them all.
In 1988 they launched their indulgent bodycare range developed by their therapists containing precious oils and rich butters. In 2014 after 37 years the Convent Garden spa closed but the brand products still live on.
So the brand were kind enough to send me some products to try. So over the last week or so I’ve been trying out the products so I thought I would give you a little first impressions as there are some real little beauty finds within the range.
So I had to have a favourite product and this is the one.(it really does need a blog post of its own) Anyone who know me know I do love myself a Radiance tonic and this is the Sanctuary Spa one. It contains 5% Glycolic Acid which is the magic ingredient that I know and love. Not only does it contain the glycolic acid but also brightening vitamin B3 and witch Hazel. You use this product after cleansing and your skin not only feels cleaner (it wipes away such a lot) but feels instantly firmer. After using this product everyday since receiving it, I know I will repurchase in a heartbeat!
I’ve used this product before after been sent a smaller sample and completely love it. I love the idea of a 1 minute mask and the fact you can use it everyday before you shower makes it so appealing.
There’s no mess and you skin is so soft afterwards. I used mine first thing in a morning and found my makeup sat better on my face all day. It’s for all skin types and does contain radiance boasting Kakadu Plum,Vitamin C and Rosemary Extract.
I had never used this product before and found the end results pretty similar to the 1 minute daily This mask is a thermal charcoal detox mask and again is for all skin types. I must admit anything that says Charcoal on I’m all over so I was super excited to give this a try.  It contains Purifying Charcoal, Mattifying Kaolin Clay and Carming Myrrh Oil. You use this in a completely different way to the 1 minute one. This one you apply and leave on your face for 5 minutes before washing off.  I’ve had bad experiences with warming clay before but this one felt so comfortable. You use this mask 2-3 times a week and after using it once your face does feel soft and clear. My face does tend to suffer with the odd breakout so I am very keen to see the effects this makes to my face at that time.

Anyone that knows me knows I like my sleep! If I’m not in bed by 10.30pm it’s a late night. The idea behind this is to spray your pillow and the spray contains enchanting midnight flowers and lavender oil. This is ment to aid a good night sleep. I don’t have any trouble really in the sleep department but I love the idea of using bedtime products with a pillow mist, bath soak and body butter in the “Sleep” range. Even when I sprayed the spray in the day there’s something about it that’s relaxing. I’m not sure if it’s a mind thing but I think it would be great for people who get stressed easily. I actually have two of these as I was kindly sent another one from Superdrug as well to try so I’m not going to run out of this anytime soon.
Another one of my favourite products from the whole range is this little bit of moisture miracle body lotion. This is the Sanctuary Spa trademark smell that we all know and love. Not only does it smell amazing but I’m loving the fact you use it on wet skin after showering. Its fast absorbing and the fact you can pop it onto wet skin its a great time saving product. It contains apricot and avocado oil and leaves your skin smelling amazing all day. I love the fact that this can be used on dry skin as well so you can use it whenever you like.

Having never used a body oil before I was really keen to give this a try. First of all I love the packaging. The little tag around the neck of the bottle gives it a cute little finishing touch which didn’t go wasted on me. The oil smells lovely and I think it would be amazing to use in the summer months over a tan, maybe on holiday. I did try to put a spot of the oil into my foundation for an all over glow for my face. it works really nicely for a radiant glow if you don't add too much, just the smallest drop.

This is another of my favourite products I was sent. I do love an under eye mask as I do suffer with dark circles. These no only contain Cucumber to help depuffing, firming gotu kola and soothing aloe vera. They are suitable for all skin types so everyone is catered for. I left these on for 15 mins ( the packet says 10 mins). My eyes definitely looked better and less puffy. I would use these again because it did make a nice difference to my eyes.
If you suffer from dull skin, this might be the product for you. The protect and illuminate moisture lotion sits really well under makeup and makes your skin look amazing. Not only does it contain a glow boosting pomelo but it also contains a brightening vitamin duo and a skin blurring complex.
It smells really nice and feels like you’re giving your skin a real treat when using it. It also contains a SPF 15 which I love in a day cream.

The last product I want to talk about is this facial oil. It contains 10 benefits in one handy product. it can be used day or night and makes a great addition to your normal everyday face cream.
The benefits include protects skins barrier, reverses visible effects of pollution, reduces the appearance of fine lines, regenerates, improves complexion, improves skin texture, nourishes, plumps, delivers a vitamin hit and is soothing, softens and smooth's. If this isn't enough it smells lovely and after a few days I can really see a difference in my complexion.

I just want to take this opportunity to thank Sanctuary Spa as these products are amazing.
I will be back again at the end of the month with my January favourites and I'm sure some products from here will feature greatly.
until next time.
