SKIN ACADEMY ZERO FIRST IMPRESSIONS

May 14, 2020

Hello again you lovely lot and thank you for stopping by. Today I thought I would do another little blog post about skincare.
You guys know how much I love talking about Skincare especially natural skincare. So Skin Academy Zero is relatively new to me. After hearing lots of good reviews about it, the brand had me intrigued.
After being kindly gifted some of the brands products I thought I would give you guys a little bit of a first impressions and how I found using all the products.

All the products are 100% Natural Plant Based Skincare with Sustainable Packaging and are VeganFriendly.
This is fast becoming a big deal in the beauty world and I for one feel better for knowing just what I’m popping onto my face and that it doesn’t contain any skin nasties.
At Zero they believe that natural products should be a choice that is available to everyone and shouldn’t cost the earth.
The products have been specially created using the best botanical ingredients to care for your skin.
All the products have been designed to reduce the stress we put on the planet with all the brands packaging been sustainably sourced and can be fully recycled.

So onto the products....
Skin Academy ZERO Face Scrub 100ml£9.99

I don’t know about you but I love a good face scrub and the Skin Academy ZERO Face Scrub is formulated with vegan ingredients and plant derived preservatives. The scrub doesn’t feel harsh on your skin but your skin really feels clean afterwards. The product is also enriched with Sacha Inchi Oil & Sweet Almond Oil.
As well as leaving your face feeling super clean, this scrub helps to deeply moisturise and hydrate the skin whilst Apricot Seeds help remove dead skin cells and help leave skin nourished & softened. This product is suitable for all skin types and is ideal to use first thing in a morning as and when it’s needed.

Skin Academy ZERO Eye Cream 25ml£9.99

I always worry about using eye products as some that I’ve used in the past haven’t agreed with my skin. I don’t particularly have sensitive skin except around the eye area and sometimes if I use a new product under my eyes, the skin can get a little bit bumpy.
This Skin Academy ZERO Eye Cream isn’t one of those products. Its formulated with vegan ingredients and plant derived preservatives and really suits my eyes. Because it’s enriched with Shea Butter & Coconut Oil it really helps nourish & deeply hydrate the delicate skin surrounding your eyes. It doesn’t sting and soaks into your skin very easily. It’s suitable for all skin types and you can even wear it under makeup. Would definitely recommend even for sensitive eyes.
Skin Academy ZERO Face Wash 100ml£9.99

On the days when a scrub can be a little too much, but you still need to clean your face The Skin Academy ZERO Face Wash is the product for you. Again it’s formulated with vegan ingredients and plant derived preservatives. As well as this, it also contains Coconut Oil & Sacha Inchi Oil. The face wash is the perfect daily cleansing product and it leaves your skin soothed & deeply hydrated. Like all the Zero products it’s suitable for all skin types and as well as the scrub this has now become part of my daily routine.
Skin Academy ZERO Night Cream 50ml£12.99

I don’t know about you guys but I tend to plaster my skin in products in the evening before I go to bed. The Skin Academy ZERO Night Cream is formulated with vegan ingredients and plant derived preservatives and this time contains Green Tea Extract, Sacha Inchi Oil & Sweet Almond Oil. The cream leaves your skin feeling  super soft and deeply hydrated for the next morning. It’s not greasy and really soaks into your skin. Again it’s suitable for all skin types so no one is excluded. The cream also was a finalist in the pure beauty global awards for 2020 making it an award winning formula.
Skin Academy ZERO Day Cream 50ml£12.99

I always worry about applying a day cream before my makeup because I have a combination skin type but Skin Academy ZERO Day Cream soaks in so well you can pop it one under makeup and off you go. Again it is formulated with vegan ingredients and plant derived preservatives and contains Shea Butter & Coconut Oil, The cream is perfect for daily use to help soothe and hydrate skin without any sticky residue and is suitable for all skin types including my combination skin. It makes the perfect base for day to day skincare.
Skin Academy ZERO Hand & Nail Cream 50ml£9.99

So at the moment my hands aren’t as bad as they have been in the past few weeks. Wearing gloves at work has really been a god send to my hands as hand gel really dries them out. At home I’ve been really enjoying using the Skin Academy ZERO Hand and Nail Cream. Again it’s formulated with vegan ingredients and plant derived preservatives and contains Sweet Almond Oil & Shea Butter, The cream is perfect for frequent use and the tube is small enough to fit into your handbag for on the go use. Its really good for dry hands and leaves skin smooth and soft. It soaks in really well which is what I dislike about hand creams the most and isn’t sticky at all. It’s definitely worth a try if your hands are suffering whatever your skin type.

I will leave a link below to the Skin Academy page.

The brand is also available to buy from Holland and Barrett, Amazon and Lloyd’s Pharmacy which I will leave the links to below.

All the Skin Academy ZERO products are made with sustainable packaging that is 100% recyclable, including the tube which is derived from sustainable sugar cane ethanol. What's not to love?

If you have used this product I would love to hear your thoughts on the brand.
Until next time
Stay safe.
