GIFTED:/ So you guys know how much I love skincare and one of my favourite brands has to be ARK SKINCARE.

I have done a few posts about the brand before and have carried on using the products as part of my daily skincare routine. 

So if you haven’t heard of ARK before, or just want a recap, let me tell you a bit about the brand and what they have to offer.

 ARK Skincare is an award winning skincare brand that uses bio active ingredients that contain highly effective antioxidants, lipids and vitamins.

The brand do age specific products that ensure you have the right formula of product according to the age of your skin for example young skin needs protecting and mature skin needs higher level of nourishment.

As well as age specific products the brand also have a Skin Perfector range which is what I want to talk to you about today.

These are added treatment products that work hand in hand with the age specific products to treat primary skin concerns.

Each Skin Perfector provides a highly effective targeted treatment and are suitable for all age groups. 

So it comes as no surprise to me that a few months back the brand won not just 1 but 7 beauty awards in the hugely respected Beauty Shortlist Awards for 2020 and were recognised as the best in class.

The first product I want to talk about is one of their award winning products and is the ARK Skincare Hydration Injection Masque.

I have been using this product for a few weeks now and am completely obsessed with it. 

The mask is in an intensive multivitamin hydration Masque that is perfect to quench skin, plump wrinkles and restore vibrancy. The masque can be used as a weekly pick me up for when skin looks tired, stressed or just lacking in radiance.( which is pretty much everyday for me!!) 

The product contains an encapsulated blend of vitamins which include Vitamin A to regulate collagen synthesis, Vitamin B5 for smoothness,Vitamin C to fade pigmentation and Vitamin E to act as an anti inflammatory and to prevent UV damage. It also contains a Hyaluronic Acid Booster which drenches the skin with moisture. It optimises the circulation of water though all the skin layers and provides 24 hour protection against water loss. It also includes Sugar Beet and Abyssinian Oil to intensely nourish your skin for a plush luxury feel. The masque also cools and calms. It also can provide relief for redness and symptoms of Rosacea. The masque helps to provide us a rested, restored and smooth skin with a healthy youthful glow that we all love for our skin. 

It’s recommended to use this once a week and depending on your age and skin needs depends on the directions of use.

For teens and twenties leave on for approximately 5 minutes. Thirties and forties leave on for approximately 10 minutes. For fifties and onwards leave on for approximately 20 minutes and then remove with a warm cloth and pat try.

For a more intensive treatment my chosen method of use was to use it overnight. This provides intensive hydration and is such a luxurious feeling product. It’s easy to see how this masque has won an award not just for 2020 but for 2016 as well. I have definitely found this has really helped my skin as I do suffer from redness and after just one treatment I find it really calms things down.

As my skin has got older I find it’s really dried out! I find it just needs a little bit of extra something for extra hydration. 

The ARK SKINCARE SKIN PERFECTOR Hydrating Serum is the brands best-selling serum and instantly hydrates dry, thirsty skin and plumps up fine lines. 

It’s jam packed with minerals and Laminaria Algae as well as Cucumber Extract for an instant burst of moisture to the skin and boosts elasticity to help to prevent wrinkles. It also smooth roughness and protect against dullness and the effects of ageing which is kind of what I look for in my skincare.

The serum is super easy to use. You can either use it as a stand alone product or mix it together with your moisturiser it’s completely up to you. I found you only need a couple of drops so a little bit of the product goes a really long way. It’s not at all greasy and soaks into your skin really well. 

Since using both these products I have really noticed a difference. Like all the products I have used before I would definitely recommend.
