GoBo The next generation, natural AHA deodorant

So it’s a new year. This means it’s the perfect time to talk about exciting new products.
I love talking about new things and today it’s about smelling nice because we all kind of want to smell nice, don’t we.
So that brings me nicely onto GoBo
GoBo is the UK's first AHA-formulated deodorant that effectively eliminates odours whilst allowing your body to perspire naturally. This exciting new product is dubbed as a breath of fresh air for your underarms! The deodorant is already popular in the USA and the brand are bringing it now to the UK.
So how is this different to other deodorants you may ask.
GoBo deodorising fluid is a natural aluminium free roll on deodorant which uses glycolic acid that gently kills bacteria deep within the skin whilst the top layer of skin is gently exfoliated. This removes dead skin cells that contribute to body odour.
This results in your underarms feeling clean and fresh and eliminates deep sweat and grime. This makes it the perfect detox for your underarms especially if you have been using heavy deodorant for years that can build up and may be making your regular deodorant less effective.
So what ingredients are in the Gobo deodorants?
I have already mentioned the Glycolic Acid. This is already one of my favourite ingredients to have in skincare products. It naturally kills bacteria deep in the epidermis and gently exfoliates the top layer of skin, removing dead skin cells.
As well as the Glycolic Acid it also contains Arrowroot. This absorbs moisture and keeps your skin dry. Guar Gum which is a natural food grade thickener and prebiotic and Vegetable Glycerine which is 100% plant origin and works an emollient keeping your skin hydrated. As well as these skin goodies the products also contains Water, Sodium Bicarbonate and Sorbic Acid.
The product is also Fragranced with natural floral waters so is scent free. It’s also Aluminium free, Paraben free, Alcohol free and Essential oil-free
Gobo is available in four different versions. The original is the unfragranced version or choose one of three delicate floral fragrances. I have been kindly gifted two from the brands collection. The Original Unscented and the Rose Water version. The other two that are available are Jasmine and Orange blossom.
And because it’s naturally caring and not harmful at all, Gobo can be used in other places not just under your arms. These include between any other skin folds that you have. Even though I have lots of skin folds I wouldn’t think of putting deodorant any where else so if you do it’s great to know you have a safer alternative.
As well as this if you have excessive sweating the Gobo can be used under an antiperspirant deodorant to prevent odour and then can be reapplied throughout the day if you feel you need to.
