HAVE A SILENT NIGHT WITH QUIETON

Regular readers to my blog may already know that I’m all about self care and include sleep as part of that. Sleep is so important and lack of sleep can have a negative impact on your life. Sometimes it feels so nice to have a few minutes of calm quiet time just to relax and feel better about yourself.
If you have trouble sleeping due to noise or just need a little bit of quiet time then this post might be just what you need.
I’m quite a light sleeper. Since having children every little bit of background noise wakes me up. I only have to hear one of my Cats coming up the stairs in the middle of the night and I’m awake. I’ve never really thought about it as I just felt it was one of these things until I discovered Quieton
Quieton are award winning and the worlds smallest noise cancelling earbuds that can effectively cancel out background noises. If you are being kept awake by snoring, traffic or noisy neighbours then Quieton can help you. Quieton are not just for sleeping. With many of us now working from home, sometimes background noise that you never thought existed before can hinder your work. Maybe you travel either on public transport or in the air (if restrictions allow) and need some peace to work or sleep or just want to relax in a quiet room, then Quieton might be the product that you never knew you needed.
So before I go on to talk about the product itself let me tell you a bit about back story of the brand. In 2015 the founder of Quieton, Janne, together with his old colleague Matti, produced the first prototype of an active noise cancelling earbud that was developed, tested and approved.
The QuietOn Sleep earbuds effectively cancel snoring, traffic noise or other sounds to provide you the quieter environment to sleep, focus on work or just to generally have a positive impact on your wellbeing and managing your everyday life!
So how did I find the earbuds?

I have been trying these earbuds out for a couple of days now and I thought I would share my thoughts about them with you.
Firstly the packaging. Which is super cute. This doesn’t really effect the product but the compact charging box is lightweight and small enough to carry around with you. If you are using them out of the house for travel the little box wouldn’t take up much room in your bag.
Inside the box you get the Earbuds, A charging cable, instructions and earbud tips in various sizes (SML) so you can pick the correct size tips that feel comfortable for your ears. I found the medium sized ones were perfect for me.
The Earbuds are so easy to use with just a touch of a button for the two modes! (Silent or Hearing Mode!) They are super comfortable that you are able to sleep in them even forgetting you are wearing them. I found they did keep their charge, even though I didn’t test them out for the full 20 hours straight. (I didn’t sleep for that long) but the 20 hours charge would be useful on say a long flight! They don’t take a long time to charge up I would say around one hour to be fully charged. It’s easy to see when the earbuds have full charge as well as the charging lights turn off on the storage box. The box also comes with full instructions which does make the product easy to use.
The Quieton earbuds are safe to use. They use analogue technology with no DSP, no digital and no radiation. They are also comfortable to use as well and can really help you to reduce surrounding noise. I tried them out to sleep in and actually forgot I was wearing them.
I also found them really useful when it came to reading. They also use a ‘push-to-talk’ capability to turn off the noise canceling, so you don’t have to take them out to talk with someone.
You can still hear your alarm as the earbuds reduce low frequency noise, where an alarm has a higher frequency sound so don’t worry about missing your early morning alarm call. (It is still recommend that you increase your alarm volume to ensure that you will hear it just to be on the safe side.) Another thing to point out is that you can still hear a smoke alarm and someone shouting your name can be heard as well. This is something that I would worry about especially if you live alone but they only reduce the sound and don’t mask it completely.
They are quite expensive but if you have the money they are definitely worth it especially if unwanted noise is a regular factor to your life.

Until next time
