So you guys know that I always love trying out new skincare. I find it super exciting to discover new things containing ingredients that I’ve never tried before. Today’s post is all about that with the new ingredient being
hemp derived CBD.
CBD is so popular at the moment in the skincare world. I have never tried any CBD face products before and I think it’s about time I share my thoughts on an ingredient thats become so popular over the last few years or so.
Like all my posts, we need a back story about the brand.
Naturecan, founded in May 2019 by Andy Duckworth, the former CEO of Myprotein, and Paul Finnegan, is a global wellness brand focused on offering a premium, safe and effective hemp derived CBD grown and extracted in Oregon USA to meet the highest quality standards.
The products are completely legal (which is always a good thing!) and uses the whole plant extraction to filter out unnatural substances. The brand also produce other health related products such as vitamins and minerals. (I’ve left the link at the bottom of the post!)
The products are available in 28 different countries and the brands wellness world has a dedicated lifestyle blog to answer important health questions and offers advice. So not only does the brand offer the products but can provide advice as well.
So onto the products that I have been kindly gifted to try out.
Before I start with the products I just want to talk about the packaging. I love how simple it is and the white and green colour combo make the products not only look natural but very eye catching. I know packaging isn’t important (it’s what’s inside that counts) but it’s worth mentioning.
So on with the post and I’m going to start off with the Hand cream.
This one is the NATURECAN Restore Hand Cream
30ml, £13.99. If you have really dry hands like me this hand cream might be the answer to all your prayers. Firstly I love the size of the tube. It’s 30ml and is the perfect size for your handbag. It doesn’t have an over powering smell and soaks into your hands perfectly without any greasy feeling.
The product contains 100mg of CBD and plenty of nourishing and soothing plant-based natural ingredients such as Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Cocoa Butter, and Vitamin E. The Restore Hand Cream does real wonders for your dry or cracked hands. It’s definitely a autumn/winter must have.
If you fancy trying out a new Moisturiser containing CBD this might be the perfect product for you.
 NATURECAN Hydrate Moisturiser 30ml, £15.99.
This one can be used daily and is the perfect moisturiser for sensitive skin types. The Hydrate Moisturiser is packed full of antioxidants to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Not only that it contains Hyaluronic Acid and 100mg of CBD is included to give your skin a real boost. It also contains Aloe Vera and Squalane Oil which offer additional skin-soothing and anti-inflammatory benefits. It’s a super easy base for makeup application and is amazing to use as part of your morning skincare routine.

NATURECAN Advanced Salicylic Acid 2% W-W Acne Control Soft touch pads £7.99.
So now onto my favourite product. This is the Salicylic Acid Pads. These are amazing at battling breakouts and are especially formulated to remove dirt and excess oil while keeping your skin feeling soft and smooth. They contain advanced keratolytic action to help decongest and unclog pores. They also include (as the name suggests) 2% salicylic acid. This is perfect to target treatment for acne, helping to reduce recurring blackheads, pimples and redness. Salicylic Acid is my favourite skincare ingredient for problematic skin so definitely a winner for these pads to contain it.
You get 60 pads in the tub and the formulation is alcohol free. (This helps it be kind to your skin) as well as the Salicylic Acid the pads also have added soothing aloe vera and witch hazel in each of them to keep your face hydrated at all times. The pad can be used 3 times daily. I only needed to use the pads once per day and even though I don’t have acne they are amazing at unblocking pores and keeping your skin spot free.
Out of all the products the pads were my favourite and they really suited my skin. Saying that the whole range is really good and definitely worth trying out. I will leave the link below just in case you fancy giving anything a try out for yourselves and the post includes links (in capitals) to all the I individual products.

Until next time.
