Hello again you lovely lot and thank you for stopping by. Hope you are having a excellent week and as Christmas approaches you aren’t getting to bowled over with all the extra shopping you have been doing.
So I was putting on my makeup earlier this week and I was really digging the L’Oréal Paris Paradise Mascara ( I’ve had it since late August don’t judge me for still using it!) and the wand broke, completely snapped off. Bearing in mind the earlier August confession I thought it was about time I went and bought a new one.
Now I know I shouldn’t be buying makeup at this time of year I should be spending on Christmas presents but my Mascaras broken! Let’s forget the fact I have a few others in my collection that I could choose from but I really like and need the L’Oréal one.
So off I trotted into town to buy myself a new one.
Both Superdrug and Boots have all makeup on 3 for 2 so it would be rude of me not to take advantage of such a good offer. ( offers have changed now to with in brand not mix and match)
Yes I did spend far more than I wanted to and I did buy way more than my chosen L’Oréal mascara but if there’s a 3 for 2 who am I to say no to that.
As well as Boots and Superdrug I did stumble across Wilkinson which does Essence makeup. Its been a while since I bought anything from the Essence brand and it’s always at a really reasonable price. So when I saw the stand all beautiful and gleaming I popped a few bits in my basket with the sink unblocker that I actually went in for in the first place.
Some of the products are new to me and I haven’t had a chance to try them properly yet but some I know and love from old so can give you a proper review.
The first thing has to be my reason for the shop in the first place it’s the;

This mascara is a little on the pricey side ( I would only buy it on a 3 for 2 offer) but I love it. It’s definitely my favourite drugstore mascara. It’s definitely one of those products that gets better over time and it lasts such a long time. I definitely would buy ( and did buy) another mascara as I can’t seem to stick to one so this is a big deal for me to repurchase a makeup item. I have done a blog post about this Mascara so if you have followed me for a while you might have read it because it’s one of my most popular posts if you haven’t I’ll link it below.

This again was another pricey product that I probably wouldn’t have bought without the 3 for 2 offer.
I’ve actually used this before and loved it in the past but the price has always put me off. I think it’s a good dupe for the Mac Blot powder and I completely love the packaging ( I love all soap and glory packaging) so I’m definitely not disappointed with this product.

I have done a blog post about these before that I will link below.
I received a little set of these a while back and really enjoyed using the metallic shades over the top of my normal lipstick to give a different look. I really liked the effect it created so I bought the full sized tube. These are such good value and definitely worth a try.

My last blogpost was about this palette and it doesn’t disappoint. I don’t think you can go wrong with a NYX eye product, infact I could go as far as to say I’ve never used a NYX product I didn’t like.
Yes it’s pricey (compared to my usual REVOLUTION ones) but it’s really good and less bulky for travel or a smaller makeup bag. I will leave a link for the blogpost I did last week about this product.

I’m loving darker shades of lip products at the moment so when I saw this shade I thought it would
be perfect for me to try.
I have used one of these rouge edition liquid lipsticks before but it was a while back and it was in a neutral nude shade that I have always bought in the past before. I have already tried this and I am so in love with the colour. It’s quite long lasting and I use the Sleek Metallic over the top and its looks really nice. I will do a full review on a post too follow as I have never done a post on these before.
I do love the Bourjois brand and I featured the Pressed Powder from the brand in my whats in my bag post earlier in the year.
So hopefully I will love this just as much and will let you know.

You all know I love a good brow product ( my brows are rubbish) so when I saw this I thought I would give it a try. Boots Natural Collection has recently had a make over themselves and I love the fact that all the products look good and are cheap and cheerful. This brow pencil is a lovely shade and I love the fact that there’s a little brush on the end to tame your brows. It applies really easily with little mess and lasts all day. But after using it I definitely prefer the BOOTS 17 brow pencil which isn’t that much more in price £2.79. So I would spend a little bit more getting that one as I think the shade suits me better.

This is one of those products that the internet made me buy. It’s had so many recommendations that even though I love the L’Oréal so much I couldn’t not try this. It’s only £3 and even though I haven’t got much Essence in my collection if this is good I will be buying more. I did try a mascara from the brand in the summer as I remember writing a post sitting on my deck chair in the back garden which I will try and link below and will definitely get back to you when I’ve had a chance to try this out.

Here’s me saying I haven’t got much Essence in my collection and the next product is from the brand as well. It’s the Make me brow eyebrow gel mascara. Now it’s another one of those internet made me buy it as I have read that’s its a dupe for the Benefit Gimme Brow so I was keen to give it a try, I do love myself a good dupe.
I must be the only one in the world who didn’t get on with the Benefit Gimme Brow product as I bought a little travel mini to take on my holidays at £5. So I don’t really know why I wanted a dupe but I was interested to see if it’s the same and I do love a good dupe. It’s a really good dupe and if you love the Benefit product it’s definitely worth giving this a go as it’s very similar for a lot less of a price.

So that’s all that I bought when I only went into town for a Mascara.( I need to be stopped!!!)
I have a little review of the Maybelline Gigi Hadid range coming soon to my blog. I have managed to get hold of a few bits but really want a few more to add before I upload it properly.
If you’ve stuck to the end of my very long ramble thank you so much and please check out my other social media platforms as I would love to get in touch.
Until next week
