Now I always think of February being the month of love. Of course we have Valentine’s Day and if the thought of hearts of flowers makes your little heart happy this might be the post of you.
Going out for a meal can be expensive so if you’re planning a special valentines meal at home you might be needing some help in the cookery department.
With this in mind here’s a great like cookery idea for the one you love. It comes in the form of a beautiful illustrated recipe tea towel from Kate Guy.

So who is Kate Guy.
Kate Guy is a designer and printer who works and teachers from her studio in north London. Coming from a printing background and her love of cooking Kate has put together and Illustrated all the ingredients that you would ever need to make a yummy Roasted Tomato Soup printed in a print recipe tea towel. The tea towels are from the Simple Soups series and the individual ingredient prints combined together make a great and easy to follow recipe on a tea towel.
 Each design has been inspired by Kate’s own surroundings where she keeps a sketchbook as a visual diary as well as taking lots of photos using them as inspiration.
These prints have then been developed into a range of themed kitchenware, prints and stationery.
The tea towels themselves are made from excellent quality organic cotton, they are very absorbent and hard wearing so you know it’s not going to fade. They can be washed at 40 degrees and would make a great gift for someone who loves to cook.
The tea towels retail at £12 and come wrapped with a paper belly band. This includes all the cooking instructions for the tea towel recipe on the back as well as a little recipe card as well.

The instructions are easy to follow so even if you a pretty new to cooking they are easy to follow.
And it’s not just tea towels, Kate’s range of homeware includes Tote Bags,  Hob Covers, Oven Gloves, Pot Holders, Aprons, Greeting Cards and Wrapping paper. She literally has everything covered.
