EDEN PERFUMES
December 22, 2020So if you are anything like me you might love designer fragrances but not so keen on the designer price tags. This got me thinking wouldn’t it be lovely to be able to get beautiful smelling designer inspired vegan perfume for a fraction of the price that really lasts. Well now you can thanks to the award winning vegan brand Eden perfumes.
Eden perfumes is a Brighton family run business who’s passion is mixing perfumes. All the fragrance ingredients are 100% vegan , cruelty free and ethically sourced.
The brand uses organic ingredients where possible and the entire range of fragrances contain between 80% and 90% certified organic ingredients. And if that’s not impressive enough the brand is the newest vegan, non animal tested perfumes and cosmetics seller in the UK
The brand are able to match your favourite perfume using vegan ingredients including jasmine, vanilla, passion fruit, musk, saffron, oud and sandalwood to name but a few. Each fragrance Is crafted with respect to the planet and the brand save on packaging and marketing and focus on creating a good perfume made to 15% intensity. All the fragrances are Eau de Parfum and not Eau de toilette making the fragrance stronger and an amazing vegan alternative to your favourite fragrance. Each of the fragrances are paraben & phthalate free.(so no skin nasties.) All the fragrances are made in the UK and even though they do smell similar to more expensive fragrances the ingredients aren’t the same but they are completely vegan.
Eden Perfumes have a vast variety of perfumes. They have options for Women, Men and Unisex as well. You can choose your perfumes from floral, fruity or oriental. The brand also do Aftershaves as well so everyone is catered for and these come in a woody, aromatic and oriental fragrances.
So I was kindly gifted the 5 sample bottle kit. They kit is the perfect way of choosing which fragrance is right for you and if you order one you can actually choose which fragrances you would like in the box. The sample box comes neatly packaged in a black box with the five bottles inside.
Each sample has a name and a number. The names make it easy to identify which fragrance that the fragrance is similar to. A full list of the fragrances is available online or in one of the brands stores which are located in Brighton and London.
So onto the 5 fragrances...
The first fragrance sample that I was sent smells just like YSL Black Opium. It’s called 30 Black Opium and is an Oriental Spicy scent.
It has the top note of Pink pepper, Orange Blossom, Pear, middle note of Coffee, Jasmine and base notes of Vanilla, Patchouli, Cedar.
This fragrance lasts so much longer on me than the original (which I can never smell on myself) and smells even better.
So the next one is 309 Daisy and it’s no surprise that this one smells like Marc Jacobs Daisy. The top notes being Violet leaf, Blood Grapefruit, Wild Strawberry, middle notes Gardenia, Violet, Jasmine and base notes Musk, White Woods, Vanilla. This one is an exact match at a fraction of the price.
Next we have 451 Blooom. Which is Gucci Bloom another of my favourite scents. This one is a floral little number and has the top notes of Orange, Green Notes, middle notes of Tuberose, Jasmine, Honey Suckle and base notes of Orris Root, Sandalwood, Vanilla.
This one smells better than the original and lasts all day without having to reapply.
Now on to 307 J Choo - Chypre which is another fruity fragrance. No prizes for guessing that this amazing fragrance smells like Jimmy Choo.
It’s top notes are Mandarin Orange, Pear, Green Notes, middle notes of Orchid and base notes of Toffee, Patchouli.
I have been wearing Jimmy Choo for years and have never found a fragrance that is even a little bit simpler to it than this one. It’s amazing. You literally could put them side to side and not know the difference.
The last fragrance I have is called 203 Portobello Road which is named after the very street in London where their shop is situated. This is an original unique fragrance of Oriental Vanilla. It’s one of the brands Unisex fragrances.
This fragrance has the top notes of lemon and aqua with middle notes of sweet English rose and sugar and base notes of cedar, vanilla and musk. This sweet and fragrant combination was inspired by the flower displays which are on show and also vanilla doughnuts which smell amazing.
If you're lucky enough to live near Brighton or London you can also visit the store there. (If current restrictions allow!) If not, check out the website which I will link below!

In conclusion if your finances have taken a bit of a battering and you don’t want to compromise on scents or you want to buy Vegan versions of your favourite scents, Eden perfumes is a gift. You can choose from a small sample box of 10ml bottles to try out your favourites (like the one I have!) or if you know what you love just tap in the search bar your favourite scent. For example Gucci and the products that are available are shown.
You can order 30ml, 50ml or 100ml bottles.
The brand also offer a refill discount on empty bottles. This is a great way of saving the planet and the environment.
Don’t just take my word for it either. The website includes pages of online reviews about each individual fragrance that is available and it’s worth taking a look if you have a favourite.
Until next time.
