I first discovered ARK SKINCARE just before Christmas around 18 months ago. I really enjoyed using the products so when I was asked to try the brands latest offering how could I say no.

So who are Ark Skincare....:

Ark skincare is an award winning skincare brand that uses bio active ingredients that contain highly effective antioxidants, lipids and vitamins.

The age specific products ensure you have the right formula of product according to the age of your skin for example young skin needs protecting and mature skin needs higher level of nourishment.

Recently some of the ARK SKINCARE range, after independent lab trials can now claim that their skincare is kind to skin, as well as dermatologically tested and clinically proven. So today I want to talk to you about a couple of the products, from the list that I have been kindly gifted to try out.

The two are the Skin Protector SPF30 Primer and the Anti Redness Serum. Both these products are from the brands Skin Perfectors range and are targeted treatments. They all contain botanical complexes that have been clinically proven to soothe, calm and protect.

Now I don’t want to admit to you that my skin is sun damaged. That thought makes me feel really sad. Saying that I am a sun worshiper and have probably stayed in the sun over the last few years more often than I should have.

Nowadays I suffer with Pigmentation on my skin which gets so much worse in the Summertime. I never leave the house without an SPF on. The SKIN PROTECTOR SPF 30 PRIMER is amazing. It’s one of those products that does lots of jobs all rolled into one product. As exposure to the sun is a common sensitivity trigger (as I find with my skin!) This primer not only makes your skin look good but protects it from the harmful UVA and UVB rays. It’s lightweight and super absorbent and feels so much nicer on your skin than a regular face sun cream and smells really nice as well.

It’s perfect to apply your makeup over the top of and makes a great skin base, even if you don’t wear much makeup your skins going to look fab when using this product! The primer also adds moisture to your skin without weighing it down or causing any breakouts. The product is suitable for all skin types, is Vegan friendly and was a 2020 winner of the beauty shortlist awards. So the other product I want to talk to you today about is the ANTI-REDNESS SERUM. I have to wear makeup everyday of some sort. My pigmentation and redness gets that bad sometimes I feel paranoid about leaving the house without something on my face.

This serum from Ark Skincare is amazing and has definitely settled things down very quickly. (I’ve only been using it for a week!) It reduces skin redness, itching and inflammation which on warmer days can be bad and also boosts moisture and reinforces our skins natural barrier. It also helps to leave your skin feeling cool, calm and supple whilst diminishing redness. It contains bio active ingredients of Solomon's Seal, Arnica, Cypress, Echium and Sunflower.
