GREAT HAIR THIS FESTIVE SEASON WITH THE INKEY LIST

December 11, 2021

This post contains gifted items.
Recently I was kindly gifted a few products from The Inkey List from the Inkey hair range.  I have always enjoyed the brands skincare affordable recipes but have never used any of the hair products before. If you have been following my blog for a while you might know my hair problems. I dye my hair (probably a bit too much! )and as I’m getting older my hair is getting a lot thinner and tends too have more frizz than it used to have. So I’m super excited to be trying out both of these products!
If you are unfamiliar to the brand let me give you a little bit of background information.
The Inkey List was founded by Colette Laxton and Mark Curry in 2018 and was born from a belief that better knowledge powers better decisions.
With the world of beauty, and particularly Skincare and Haircare that can be confusing. The Inkey List is passionate about their community with personal individual recipes to suit each and everyone of us.
The brand not only offer amazing skincare but also have the best haircare ingredients products that target a range of hair concerns from itchy scalps & thinning hair to dull or dry ends. The list is endless.
Just like the skincare, layering your hair products is an effective way to maximise the results of your routine.
The brand also offer a Recipe Builder for hair as well as skin, so you can get a personalized haircare routine in 2 minutes by answering a few questions about your hair goals and needs.
As Christmas is fast approaching the products make an excellent gift and I will leave the links below to each product just in case you were interested.

So today I wanted to talk to you about a couple of products of hair care products from The Inkey list that you definitely need in your life if you have the same hair issues as me.
So first things first.. the packaging. Which I completely love. I love the little bottles of both products. They are lightweight and even though they are small (100ml) bottles a little of the product goes a long way. The packaging has pretty much the same look as the skincare and makes the products look amazing. I love the black and white colour combo and even though the packaging isn’t as important as the product inside it does make a difference if the packaging is good! I also love that the packaging has a cute little sun and moon detail. This shows that both the products can be used in the morning or the evening time.
So firstly it’s the,
HYALURONIC ACID HYDRATING HAIR TREATMENT £9.99
This is a lightweight treatment serum formulated with optimized high and low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acids. This helps to hydrate your hair, reduce frizz, brittleness and improve shine, whilst helping to protect hair from the impact caused by environmental pollution. The product can be used on wet or dry hair.
I always love Hyaluronic Acid and this is a classic ingredient that I’ve been using in my Skincare routine for years. It’s widely known for its highly hydrating properties. So can be perfect for lack of hydration in the hair. Especially in the winter months my hair can be extra dry this can be due to over washing, water temperature being too high, using heated tools without heat protection or humidity. I also find central heating a problem as well. When your hair becomes dry, the hair cuticle is rough and open, causing hair to lose moisture and become frizzy. I suffer with frizzy bits at the root of my hair. I put it down to my hair being chemically damaged but using this product Thinly applied all over the hair 1-2 times a week either morning or night your hair feels so much smoother and less frizzy. The product isn’t at all greasy, which is what I worry about with hair products. I used it on dry hair first and it soaked in pretty much straight away. It made my hair super soft, less frizzy and so shiny. Definitely worth a try if you suffer from the same hair problems as me.  LINK HERE TO BUY!
If you hair is lacking in volume this next product might be the one for you. It’s the

PEPTIDE VOLUMIZING HAIR TREATMENT £12.99

This is a lightweight serum treatment that helps to increase hair thickness and volume. This is something that my hair lacks in. It works by the Peptides that are chains of amino acids that support proteins naturally found in hair.
Limp and thin hair is an incredibly common hair concern across all hair types and lack of volume can be caused by several factors, including diet, product build up, hormones, genetics or stress.
It’s to be used after washing and is suitable for all hair types even coloured hair. (That’s good news for me!) It’s amazing at targeting fine, limp and flat looking hair.
This product is pretty amazing. It works instantly. It smooths your hair as well as making it look thicker without weighing it down. Definitely a product to try if your hair is thinner. LINK HERE TO BUY!

I love the fact that both these products are weightless and don’t leave any residue in your hair. In fact you only feel the benefits and not the actual product if that makes sense. I would definitely repurchase both the products as I think they really help with your hair. I’m not sure as yet if they help with hair growth as it’s too early to comment but I will definitely keep you informed!!

If you fancy giving someone the gift of amazing hair or skin this Christmas I have left the links to the website below. The hair products are fragrance free and it’s free delivery on all orders.

The website also includes all the brands skincare range as well that I will be reviewing soon. So please keep a look out for that!

Until next time
